I regret skipping the 3DS and Wii U era, and now that the Switch 2 is rumored to possibly be coming out soon I've realized how much I regret skipping that era as well.

Look at its model number it should be something like CTR-001 (Original 3DS) or SPR-001 (3DS XL) you can find the number on the underside of the 3DS. After you get the model number just type "(Model number) battery" into google.
