I preferred the first series's from the early 2000’s. Clown candidates are funny but smart candidates are more engaging to watch

Well, if you think that any of them would get as far as being interviewed with their ludicrous CVs and business plans if it didn’t make for entertaining TV, you must be on a different planet. It’s certainly fake compared to applying for such roles in the real world.

This whole program is setting the candidates up to fail, this is why they have become consistently younger over the decade its been going. I also don't like the way Karen is always so awful to people and never gives them any solid advice or help

He was not selected due to his business side, that’s just his ego…. Nobody is selected on that show for their business side, else they would not apply in the first place let’s face it… plus they won’t want people who know what they are actually doing

Tbf it seems they pick 2 or 3 with better business ideas or already fledged out businesses, however Sugar ends up sacking them on a bad task and then your stuck with the sweet shop or hair business again

Did you watch the video? It’s not necessarily fake but a lot of things for example, the candidates being picked out and the tasks, are picked out so that it’s entertaining to the audience. Maybe you need to brush up on your comprehension skills. Also literally no one forced you to click on this video, if you clicked on it you obviously had some sort of interest and if you find it boring you’re more than welcome to click off it. No one’s holding you hostage apart from your intelligence 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think he means fake by some candidates are deliberately fired because their paid to be their for entertainment purposes rather than to win and form a business with the investment but some are meant to be their strictly for the investment
