Is the axis flying c20 Any good?

I had a CineBot 25 not a CineLog. I got rid of it and custom built my own CineOn C20 V2. DJI O3, Airbot Fenix G4 STM32G4 FC AIO, Flywoo Nano Goku w/ Compass, Holybro Ripper 1404 3800KV.

I have a problem with this drone that the throttle is not controlling well it goes from nothing all of a sudden to full throttle even if I don't even have it half open and then it stays in full open even if I close the throttle

Hey, that sounds strange. have you checked the stick input inside betaflgiht at check that they are correct? else you can check blackbox logs, to see if there is anything wrong. if you want help, feel free to reach out via discord, discord name: Raukael

hey rauk, i have dji mini 3 pro and i want to enter in fpv world. so can you please suggest me which simulator is compatible for RC (with screen) that comes with mini3pro. I have m1 mac, please suggest me and guide me to fpv learning

Hey, first thans for watching!. Unfortunately the dji rc are not compatible with the fpv simulators. The Dji mini 3 pro does have an fpv mode if you have the goggles 2 and the motion controller 2, but its a very different experience. What id recommend, (i have a video in the works that i hope to get to at some point) is that you get a ps or xbox controller, while they are vastly different from normal fpv controllers they can work to get a sense if fpv is the right move for you. If you already know that fpv is for you id recommend getting a decent controller, and depending on what controller you can afford and prefer. here id recommend either of the radiomaster boxer, tx16s or the zorro. Alternately the dji controller 2 is also viable. if you are planning on going dji digital with the fpv drones. For the Simulator id recommend either Liftoff or uncrashed if you want to do freestyle, or Velocidrone if you plan on racing. If you just want to start out and want a free alternative you can get the fpv.skydive whcih is a pretty good simulator as well, but not as good as the paid options. I can send you the pids and filter settings. But I would not recommend you just put them in, as our drones are properly not identical. If you send me a message on discord (Raukael) I can send them there.

Thanks for the video. I agree with below that the music when you are talking isn't needed. My speakers are pretty good on my MacBook and it is hard to hear you properly. I wonder if they are putting the GPS on these for RID in the future???

I'll be sure to try without music in the future :) As far as I'm aware you don't need RID when the drone is below 250g, and you would also need a module to transmit the location. Which would be quite annoying for a small drone like this where every gram matters. I can't tell the future, but I hope these small drones won't be subjugated to RID. Cheers!

Is anyone else having a tough time hearing what Rauk FPV is saying because the music is too loud or is that just because I have really bad ears? I'm dying to know how this compares to my Cinelog 20 and the QAV Pro. I like this form factor but I feel like no one has perfected it yet. Doesn't this come with GPS? Many people say GPS isn't needed on a small whoop like this but I totally disagree. GPS is needed on all camera drones of any kind because they allow you some safety backup for flying over water and over areas where you may not be able to retrieve it in the event of a failsafe. I'd love to add GPS to my Cinelog20 but haven't figured out how to mount it.

Hey thanks for the feedback. I'll try to either not have music or at least lower it in the future. This is a diy C20 V2, if you buy it you can get it with gps. But I haven't found a use case for a gps on the small drones. Wouldn't use the small ones here for flying over water. For those i would use a 3.5" or larger. I would say i don't think you would gain much by changing from a cinelog20 or a qav to this. Thanks for watching!

Hey i am using the freewill filters but they didn't fit either. I had to just make a small cut with an exacto knife. Just just cut off the TPU where it didn't fit. It's a very small amount you have to cut off. Thanks for watching!

hey Rauk have you done any tuning to this at all? Im using the stock gemfan 2023 props and its too fast for cinewhoop indoor flying. any input will be appreciated.

stock betaflight was 4.3 i updated it to 4.4.2 and matched the old tune via sliders.

im thinking of switching to the gemfan d51-5 like you have to give me more grip and a slower flying craft.

Hey yes, ive done a quite some tuning to it. i am not using stock tunes, and ive flashed bjuejay to my esc. It is still fast for indoor, but that mostly comes down to more throttle control as well as slower rates and the camera angle. another thing i could recommend is adding a throttle limit with scale just to bring down the speed.

@@RaukFPV yep my rates are 300 pitch and roll 200 yaw. But I’ll drop it even more as this is very touchy. Would you be down to share your tune? Mine acts very jumpy in a tight corridor from the air haha
