I prefer KZbin, we watch KZbin more than anything else.. thousands of films, my hubby loves the cowboys. There is nothing you can't find from cooking, news, wild life, diy, it's fantastic.

Anything is better than the BBC. Why should be anybody be expected to pay for ‘live’ programmes such as ITV and Freeview which are financed by advertising. Not to mention the fact that our very own Parliament decided to offer free TV licences to the over 75’s. Why on earth was this allowed to be overturned?

That guy is deluded. It's BBC Studios that make programmes that are sold all over the world, not the BBC. If the BBC is so wonderful and respected and loved all around the world, then why don't they become a subscription channel, because, if it's true, then they would make a lot more money than they would with the TV licence scheme

The only shows I've watched on the BBC in the last ten years were a few America made programs. I can't think of anything the BBC has made that I've watched apart from a few old comedy shows.

I don't watch the BBC, only when there's the odd footy match on, even then I mute until the game starts. Netflix is bad, but I prefer that over the WOKE BBC, who simply steal £159 off me every year. Pure criminal

Stop paying for it, you don't need to. Cancel the direct debit , don't phone them up either to cancel. After that don't bother with the TV licence letters just throw away! After a year they will change from your name on the envelope to the legal ocupier. I'm 25 years licence free. I will never have a TV licence, when the TV licence person comes to the door just say I'm not interested then shut your door in their face! Guess what they can't do a thing about it! Don't give them your name give them nothing!

A few points. It is not the most powerful brand in the world. It does use product placement and has for a long time. It does not make good programs, the good ones are made by other companies and sold to the BBC. Often the companies that they own, and are profit making companies, like BBC Studios. Not part of the BBC, a separate independent company The BBC are left to make the rubbish programs and the News. You don't need three and a half billion quid to do that. We all know its jobs for the boys, or girls, or an alphabet.

The ironic thing when he talks about the BBC regarding its sport (or lack of it) is I have been watching lots of love T20 cricket on KZbin for free (and legal) during the last few weeks. The BBC along with other free to sit channels could show these matches. The other irony is that this weekend sky intend to stream the last 2 rounds of the open golf championship to its golf KZbin channel for free which used to televised by the BBC. KZbin is becoming the place for free to air sport it seems.

I can’t understand why the bbc has a 24/7 news channel and still shows the bbc news one bbc through the night then show breakfast on bbc 1 and bbc news 24/7 then at 9am it switches to bbc 2

I remember watching the f1 formula 1 on bbc then went to itv and had adverts while the race was still going on and end up missing some of the race then bbc got it back but gave it up again and is now on sky sports which still has adverts on it Also there was a joint venture between itv and bbc called BritBox but the bbc sold there half to itv and itv has full rights to britbox now Let’s see how life long the venture between Disney and the bbc last

A vast majority if people pay tv license PURELY so they have the opportunity to be able to watch programmes over their home WiFi on tv apps such as itvx, ch4 ch5 otherwise you can't watch those channels without a tv license
