Or they just have a dominating offense and defense
@mjkeidljr83795 ай бұрын
it’s obvious they had it easier but the celtics are really good. if the heat were healthy that series was probably going 6 or 7 and if the cavs were healthy game 7 would be tomorrow night so it’s really all about perspective.

The Bucks only real challenge was the Nets. Giannis is a future HOF lock who'd already won 2 MVPs and 1 DPOY, he is absolutely a superstar. And outside of KD that year the best player in the East. Tatum is closer to Paul Pierce than Giannis or KD and has a very stacked squad even without KP (Who's never been to the finals)

They had the toughest path to finals in the year they lost to gsw tho.

You have to calculate using the SRS score of each tewm they face and the total number is their difficulty

So 2 things. Firstly The Nuggets have never beaten a team with over 50+ wins in the playoffs, last years run was historically easy for them and it was also the most injury ridden playoffs in nba history too until this year. So that is comparable to this year’s Celtics BUT that’s the point of being a good team and getting the 1 seed. It’s the whole incentive you play 82 games for. It’s earned and completely fair
@lorddevil8635 ай бұрын
What do you mean catch up? They did exactly what they were supposed to do. They have been so close with their go two super stars for so many years, I am not in the NBA or never been in a league, but if you ask me, I would rather see the other teams battle it out and hope I can get to the finals with as much conserved energy as possible.

I love how the point of the regular season is to make your playoff path objectively easier and now people are complaining about how easy the path is like THAT'S THE FUCKING POINT
@terhembaunande95285 ай бұрын
Well they might just shock everyone and not even make it to the NBA finals.. heck that would be something!

The #1 seed hasn't made it past the ECF since 2017. It wouldn't be surprising. But the last team to do it and not be led by LeBron is the Boston Celtics.

If the celtics go on to play nuggets, there is absolutely no possibility to say they had an easy path to a chip (if they somehow overcome jokic). Because that's the hardest opponent the last like 6 champions wouldve had to play until the raptors against the warriors

That’s how it was for the 49ers until the lions and chiefs, The Knicks/pacers and nuggets/Twolves/Mavs/Thunder will be JUST that for Boston trust me

Bro this argument is so fucking stupid. Of course they have an easy path, THEY ARE THE ONE SEED. The higher seed you get the easier your path is. That’s how it works guys.

People forget the suns had one of the easiest path to finals ever in 2021.

The Celtics average margin of victory in the playoffs is about where it was during the regular season, so like they aren’t any better or worse the way they are playing, which imo isn’t an issue cuz they lapped the field in the regular season winning 8 more games than any team in the nba.

Bucks?! Did you not see Giannis getting injured?! And cakewalk to the finals?! Faced the Heat, God-mode Durant and Hawks (GA injured) then Suns. The C's on the other side 😭

It's just the fact that in the conference finals they'll get either Pacers or Knicks instead of Bucks or 76ers. Boston took care of business like expected in the first two rounds but everyone just wished they had a tougher opponent in the conference finals. Whoever wins game 7 I think wins 1 game against Boston. Boston still loses to whoever comes out of the West though. The West is the AFC.

The bucks is an underated answer, that nets team and a hawks team without trae young, then the suns

That Hawks series was LITERALLY without Giannis and the Suns went against an injured Giannis who had to take breaks every 5 minutes before finishing a quarter.
@runnerup56765 ай бұрын
@@HomellAlcautor A hawks team without trae young has who? While the bucks still had middleton and Jrue. Your gonna conveniently leave out cp3's and booker's injuries too on top of the fact they had no experience in the playoffs. Giannas had so much luck that year, considering the fact his team chokes every year. HE AINT A CHAMPION

at the end of the day…why does it matter? Every 1 seed plays the same variations of seeds every year. It doesn’t change. Some years there’s some stacked teams…other years there isn’t. You can’t hold a “cake walk run to the finals” against the Celtics. It’s not like they chose it
