I was randomly thinking, what TFL does really well is having two people doing a review or adventure. They just pull it off so well. The conversation, banter and friendliness reflects really well on the culture at TFL. It doesn't seem to matter who the duo are, but Jen and Mary have done a few together and do this brilliantly.

Love this! I’m 18 and daily drive a 1966 mustang and can’t agree with you more. I don’t drive my car because it’s the most comfortable or reliable. I drive it for the thrill. Whether it’s from the rumble of its small block V8, feeling the old suspension leaning as I take on a corner, or listening to classic 50s/60s hits while driving, nothing brings me more joy than driving this car. Great video and keep up this kind of content!

There was a different version for their market in Colorado called the High Country. Had a '66 Mustang when I was 23. 4 barrel A code 289. 4 speed manual. 225HP though mine had the engine rebuilt. A lot of fun. Tin-y sound; no insulation to speak of. Parts are still cheap & plentiful, huge aftermarket following for someone looking for their 1st classic car. I recall buying a new aftermarket chrome bumper for $75US. New carpet, seat belts & other small parts - all shipped to my door in Canada at very reasonable prices. That was 30 years ago. Yet, with over 1 million sold for model years 64 1/2 to 66 and being a simple platform, you will find no other classic with parts so plentiful.

You missed the entire point. This is a 56 yr old car. She said it was slow, noisy, didn't ride well, and they never even got it to 60 MPH. What they did do is ride in a time machine. It took them to what they imagined 1968 was like and they enjoyed every minute of it. They laughed. They sang. They had fun. Those are, by far, the best attributes a classic car has to offer.

It's a toy by comparison with modern cars. No matter what fans say the owner has to put up with a lot of inconveniences. However, a nice restomod might pull the right string of the soul, and maybe allow to use it daily, unless something about the engine is original, hence breaking constantly.

Have a backpack of food, utensils, electric coffee pot, etc. ready to go and just toss it in the vehicle. When I used to make long trips, I always kept a 24-hr. survival pack with me.
