I don't think most people understand just how evil Snyder is as a person: he has often been evil just for evil's sake. I'm friends with a guy that runs a catering service and catered for him. He had some big party and a TON of leftover, unopened food. My friend offered to donate it to a local homeless shelter FOR FREE, and Dan Snyder said no, throw it ALL out. Dan's response was "Why should I be responsible for feeding the homeless?"

As a former Washington Season Ticket holder - he was so bad, in the year after he bought the team he screwed the tailgaters out of access to port-a-pots...there are so many things he did to ruin that team...

William Clay Ford only won one playoff game as an owner and it took him 28 seasons to do it, so no...Snyder is not the worst owner in history from a football standpoint. As a human being? I won't argue, but Ford was atrocious.

Add to the fact they haven’t seen a Super Bowl win since 1991. But I feel teams such as the Browns, Chargers, Vikings, Falcons, Cardinals, Lions, and Bengals have been run far worse. 57 years of the Super Bowl and they couldn’t muster one winning team ?

I’d rather have a team that won a Super Bowl long ago over a team that kept having bad luck and constant losing seasons without any Super Bowl wins to show for such as the ones I mentioned. Appearing doesn’t mean anything when you come away empty handed, hell at least Washington has 3 Super Bowl wins, I’m sure the other dozen wish they all had at least one

Gotta remember not only the scandals Snyder was in the center of but the fact that before he purchased the team Washington was seen an all time great team that won numerous super bowls .barely even sniffed the playoffs in his 20 + years of ownership

I'll say this about Snyder: he wasn't afraid to shake them dollars and round up Big Name Free Agents every offseason. The Redskins were Offseason Paper Champs throughout the 2000's. Then that pesky regular season (a.k.a. "reality") would start and ruin everything.

One of his predecessors, George Preston Marshall, wasn't much of a prize either. And to be clear, it wasn't Snyder that chose to leave RFK, it was the very admired Jack Kent Cooke.

Yeah I was about to say, Snyder is horrible but they had already moved out to FedEx a couple years before he bought the team. Apparently FedEx is so crappy bc it was rushed during construction to try to be done before Cooke passed away.

Snyder is no doubt in the team picture of worse NFL owners in history but the Bidwell & Ford families are the team leads just for the sheer length of those franchises futility. The Lions have only one playoff win in 65 years & the Cardinals haven’t won a championship since my mom was two years old & their best player in franchise history was trade for a record number of players at the time over 65 years ago & basically all of them were bust. Also, nobody in Chicago wanted to deal with Bidwell so he moved to St. Louis then nobody wanted to deal with him there so he moved the team to Phoenix. Their mismanagement even continued with hiring a failed college coach with a sub .500 record because he had a tangential relationship with an immature QB who they had to put a homework clause in his contract only to retract it because of the embarrassment. As bad as Snyder has been it’s only been only a little over 20 years. The Lions & Cardinals have been laughing stocks so long that people who were born when the last time they act won anything have long since retired.
