I did a price check on that unit and the cheapest I found was for an open box at 1295. That would be a fair price if you do a lot of large open areas. Some places wanted almost as much as the Rolls Royce of drag wands, the Zipper which is about 2400 right now + S&H. I think I'd buy the Mytee drag wand over this machine, but it still is not as high quality as the Zipper. I think with some improvements like a better adjustable handle and some other tweaks that tool might have been more popular. Still, it looks like it's serving your purpose for that particular job. I do churches from time to time. The largest I've ever done in my life had over 17,000 sq. ft. of carpets and I did the entire thing alone in 4 days with just a normal wand and some I think I may have used an RX-20. It had a lot of large wide-open classrooms and large carpeted hallways too. I also used to do a grade school with a lot of very large classes and halls that took me about 4 days. Back then that tool wasn't even made and there was little available besides regular wands. Both of those jobs eventually started cleaning "in house" requiring their maintenance staff to do the cleaning. It was good money while I had them. The most I've ever made off any job in my entire life was that grade school. I generally give most churches a price break, but that grade school was a challenge and had a lot of square footage.

Awesome Job Sir ..”Yes you’re right” this tool has few luxuries but it helps you cut down square footage faster than a standard wand in large areas.

Absolutely Lamar. Typically it takes us 6 hours to do the edu building here but we were able to do it in nearly half the time thanks to this tool. Although I still like the Zipper better, this tool is no slouch !

How long did it take y'all to complete this job? Seems like a large job and time consuming !

We did it over 2 days. We usually split it up that way. Thanks for watching Mitchell!

Hey Darren, thanks for watching and commenting. This is a great tool. It’s really for super dirty / greasy carpets. The price used to be around $1300 but inflation may have caused that to go up. The purpose of it is to help break up soil in the carpet.

Nice video. But the cx-15 was kind of obsolete once the Bonzer and zipper hit the market. They clean on both directions and the Bonzer is less expensive at $1495. There is a huge surplus of used cfx-15s because no body wants them anymore. Your videos are always good though!

Nate thanks so much for watching! You’re absolutely right about the zipper and bronzer. The CX-15 missed a great opportunity by not adding a vacuum slot in the rear. It’s too bad they didn’t because it would be excellent if so. But for the price and like you said you can buy them used very cheap, it’s a great option for new cleaners or cleaners on a budget. If I did more commercial I’d definitely invest in the zipper tho.
