Good morning and blessings from God to everyone from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic! I was so happy to be in this live and shared with everyone. One of my favorite translations I use in my morning devotionals is the New Living Translation and I also use the Spanish version from the Bible that's called The New Bible from the Americas. I highly recommend the New Living Translation.

I think any day of the week is fine for renewal/rest depending on your schedule. So many don't get that rest because they insist on it being on a Sunday, but its really about your personal relationship with the Lord, not about what others are doing.

In the old testament they were to keep the sabbath because that was the day God rested after creation. We are living in the new testament and worship on the first day of the week because the resurrection was on Sunday and that is our only hope of eternal life.

They have been changing the Bible ever since Darwin gave his theory of evolution.. that's why I stick with the KJV plus all the manuscripts come from Paul's churches,(over 6,000 manuscripts) and the other Bibles come from Alexandria Egypt and Rome, which the scriptures do not talk good about either one of those countries! 🙏🏼✝️ Pray about it God will lead you to the answer 🙏🏼✝️

Kjv is a translation written by a king who had his own agenda. Learn Hebrew and Greek and Latin and read the original. Every translation is a Robery of the full meaning

I disagree. The KJV is representative of plain language of the Byzantine textual tradition, but differs from what is called the Majority Text. The "Alexandrian" text-type or "ancient" text is not a different "Bible." There's more to it than what can be talked over in a video comment section, but there are good translations and bad translations for our day. To give you context, the Majority Text has 1800 textual differences from the KJV that need to be talked about.

The Bible was changed many times long before Darwin. There were changes to make texts agree. There were many changes made due to errors that monks made when they transcribed it.
@Okielogian5 ай бұрын
@Garrison169 it's actually not that simple. The Bible has stayed the same in its messages. As far as "changes" are concerned, we are only talking about 2% or less of the whole New Testament where textual variants become applicable. Most of them are a word here or a phrase there. There are two longer sections, the longer ending of Mark and John 7:53-8:11. None of these affect doctrine and because there was a free transmission of the text over time, the New Testament spread all over the place with no one person or group able to control the text. It wasn't until 1516 when an edited Greek New Testament that utilized textual criticism was produced. The New Testament is preserved in those 6k plus manuscripts plus 10k Latin and 10k manuscripts from other langauges. We can evaluate them all and come back to the original text.

@@Okielogian It was men and not your god who determined which writings were included in the Bible. You could claim that the choices were divinely inspired through committees.

I bought my son a new Bible. He had read or saw something that said China is changing the Bible and because his Bible was printed in China he wanted us to do some research. It’s a real thing happening I think 🥺

There have been side by side comparisons of the new versions of the Bible (NIV, ESV, etc) to old versions, and some verses are completely missing in the new texts. Some verses written in a way that gives a totally opposite interpretation. I don't think the new versions can be trusted.
@shanetlogan4 ай бұрын
The ESV is translated directly from the original Greek manuscripts. Listen to the interview with Bill Mounce and Sean McDowell.

I personally think that every time a group ? rewrite the Bible supposedly to make easier to understand and in some cases more relatable to current times in reality dumbing us down rather than us learning up to the Bible I personally use King James have been in Bible study group where others use different versions not all read the same

They haven’t changed my bible I’ve had the same one passed down from my grandma over 18 years I’ve had it not including the time she has had it God is good everybody❤️ we do our best to understand the Bible as closely to the original as possible the truth is we’re not gonna get it right we can try but we’re sinners from birth accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and be saved he is NOT after your service but your heart and if you push him away he will give you what you want Praise the Lord of all Lords amen❤

I find it helpful when studying scripture to compare translations. I have found error by doing this but also found a better understanding of certain verses. The scripture is the same and it’s message/word is unchanging. Bibles with notes/commentary's should not be used because that is just another mans interpretation of scripture. This method has deceived many. The Holy Spirit will teach you making you more aware of false teachings
@thecallofmen52815 ай бұрын
First I think that we need to quit calling it the Bible, now we understand the Bible is the book that contains God’s word but we have to give credit back to the author who inspired it God! If it is just a book and then the content within the book can be changed this is not just a book it is the word of God.

I've watched them push their revisionist junk on the world for a while. Not long ago they pushed out the "Queen James" Bible, rumor has it China has a revised version praising the Emperor and communism, some people are editing the Bible to push veganism, so it's not unbelievable at all that the US government would push out a revised version. I've got several copies, some more than 20 years old, and yes, I do compare them and so far, they don't say different things. But we've known these days were coming, where the swamps would declare themselves rulers, that we cannot worship the true God, and very soon, the beast and false prophet will be revealed, then it will be a very short time until we are in eternity.

So clean your temples that is known as your heart, mind, and soul , so the Holy Spirit of God in Christ lives in you .. don't be confused in what I say and follow not any other but the Lord and know the spirit that is leading you..
