The top of the stars point forward ship. You don’t have to go to Cabanas when you embark, you can go to one of MDRs for a meal. We usually do this because it’s so much more relaxing than the busy buffet after boarding. 😊

As for the muster drill, the ship is old. 1998! I think that is why they want to see everyone in person and figure those traveling will be better for seeing everything up close and personal! Looks like it doesn’t take but a few minutes!😊

I feel like Disney just needs to shorten the name to Lookout Cay and drop the lighthouse pointe part of the name. Also you should look at what the atrium originally looked like. The chandelier used to be extremely colorful and intricate, but I understand that it was a nightmare when it came to maintenance

You can call it whatever you want. Disney may have legal requirements from the lease agreement with the Bahamian government on what they call it (kind of how Aulani has to be called "Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa, Hawaii").

The lottery comment about which decks have A/C 😅. I was on the sailing right before. I do the no elevator challenge and you can literally feel the difference going from deck to deck. Deck 6 (my deck ) was the coldest. Other than that a fantastic trip!

There are a lot of things I hate about the Disney company but when it comes to their cruise ships, I really enjoy them. The Magic while being very old by cruise standards, is kept in great shape. The same with her sister ship, the Wonder that is only a few years younger. The split bathroom isn't for all the DCL rooms. The very basic rooms with no window or balcony don't all have a split design.
