This is the second video I've watched in the last week that when Dr. Brown brings up the screenshot of the word of God to read it, all sound is lost for the majority of his reading of the scripture. @2:39 Through 3:13 Again @4:59 through 5:15

Post 2 Secondly, the subject matter isn't about prophesying or praying but about the Head of man and women who is has the authority, Head, so to speak in this dynamic: of God and Christ's Head who is the Father. Men and the women's Head who is the men. Prophesying or praying is mentioned in passing, the topic is about Headship. However, concerning prophesying, praying, tongues inside a Church, an assemble and or a House meeting according to 1 corinthians 14 the whole chapter instructs the proper and orderly conduct for men and women. 1 Corinthians 11:17-1817 But in giving this instruction, I do not praise you, because you come together not for the better but for the worse. 18 For, in the first place, when you come together [†]as a church, I hear that [†]divisions exist among you, and in part I believe it. ]Paul clearly tells us this is in a "Church" and or "when you come together." As we take examine 1 Corinthians 14:1-40, whole chapter, specifically, verse 5 "...so that the church may receive edification"; verse 12"...seek to abound for the edification of the church"; verse 19 "however, in the church I desire to speak five words with my mind so that I may instruct others also, rather than ten thousand words in a tongue"; verse 23 "Therefore if the whole church assembles together and all speak in tongues, and [†]uninformed men or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are out of your mind?"; verse 26 "What is the outcome then, brothers? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has a [†]translation. Let all things be done for edification"; verses 28, 33, and 34 but 28 "but if there is no [†]translator, he must keep silent in the church, and let him speak to himself and to God. Notice, 1 Corinthians 14:28 how if the tongue speaker if there is no interpreter, needs to be "SILENT IN THE CHURCH"; this is a male who under the inspiration, not because of education or culture of this or our time doesn't matter but "keep silent" period. A vital point while connecting 1 Corinthians 14:28, these Tongue speakers; verse 30, these Prophets; verse 34 the Women are to be silent. This is the exact same word in the Greek. Take heed, here, it isn't all men who need to be silent but these particularized or specific men who are tongues speakers, not having an interpreting present: to be silent; these specific prophets, if one has a revelation, he, the first one needs to be silent and wait until the other is finished prophesying verses 29-32; but verses 34 αἱ γυναῖκες ἐν ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις σιγάτωσαν· the women should keep silent in the churches. This isn't referring to a woman but to women plural to all the daughters of Eve and the spiritual daughters of Sarah, if they obey has Sarah did (1 Peter 3:6), and importantly daughters of God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, following his commandments 1 Corinthians 14:37. Silent means sigaó: to keep silent, to keep secret Usage: intrans: I am silent, keep silence; trans: I keep secret; pass: I am kept secret. σιγάω, σίγω; 1 aorist ἐσίγησα; perfect passive participle σεσιγημενος; (σιγή); from Homer down; to keep silence, hold one's peace: Luke 9:36; Luke 18:39 L T Tr WH; (Luke 20:26); Acts 12:17; Acts 15:12; 1 Corinthians 14:28, 30, 34; passive, to be kept in silence, be concealed, Romans 16:25. (Synonym: see ἡσυχάζω.) hold peace, be silent From sige; to keep silent (transitively or intransitively) -- keep close (secret, silence), hold peace. Diving into another term used by Paul regarding women "learning in silence," in 1 Timothy 2:11,12 the word here silence or quite is not speechless like the word to keep silent or keep secret; the word is sigao from the root sige in 1 Corinthians 14:34. The lexicon defines according to Bible Hub, 1 Timothy 2:11, the word quietness, silence stillness: hésuchia: stillness Usage: quietness, stillness, silence. Cognate: 2271 hēsyxía (from hēsyxos, "quiet, stillness") - quietness, implying calm; for the believer, 2271 (hēsyxía) is used of their God-produced calm which includes an inner tranquility that supports appropriate action. This term "does not mean speechlessness, which is more directly indicated by 4602 (sigḗ) (J. Thayer). See 2272 (hēsyxios). Here is the difference between stillness, quietness (1timothy 2:11-12) versus silent, to keep secret: "This term "does not mean speechlessness, which is more directly indicated by 4602 (sigḗ) (J. Thayer). See 2272 (hēsyxios)." So in 1 Timothy 2:11, women are to learn in stillness, an inner tranquility calmness during a sermon. But they are not to teach nor usurp authority over the man. Paul gives a reason why women are not to teach, Pastor etc: 1 Timothy 2:11-14 11A woman must learn in quietness, in all submission. 12But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. 13For it was Adam who was first formed, and then Eve. 14And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, [†]fell into trespass. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 34 The women are to keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. 35 But if they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home, for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in church. 36[†]Was it from you that the word of God first went forth? Or has it arrived to you only? Here, in 1 Corinthians 14:34, the meaning is to keep secret or silent, speechless; for women, they are to keep silent or speechless in the churches, that is to mean, everywhere at any church or home gatherings. Why? Paul says #1 verse 35 it is a disgrace or a shame for a women to talk in a Church setting or at Home gatherings #2 Paul said just as the Law, also says" concerning women to "subject themselves"; this law Paul is referring to, not sure if there's any other Text(s), Genesis 3:16 "...Your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you"; furthermore, to point out, this is to women being in subjection as to the Law of God and now the Commandment of Christ (1 Corinthians 14:37), they are not permitted to speak: to be silent or keep silent /and or speechless while at the Church or Home gatherings. In 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, Paul backs up the statement of "to be silent...not to speak in the churches" why women are to If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize that the things which I write to you are the Lord’s commandment. So you, Mr. Brown and others who say or think your "Spiritual" should recognize what Paul is writing to you and me are the Lord's commandment. Therefore, to quote 1 Corinthians 11:4-7 doesn't help us but creates problems for 1 Corinthians 14 the whole chapter is about "coming together" or "in a church," clearly or explicitly stated in the scriptures, however, 1 Corinthians 11:1-16 is not. 1 Corinthians 14 verses 36 and 37 are connected, for it wasn't from you, Corinthians, whereby God spoke to or inspired you, nor it only came to you; but this word are for all churches and came by the Holy Spirit of God to Apostle Paul: "commandment of the Lord." If anyone is to not know or ignorant, or willingly ignorant or not obeying this commandment of the Lord, he is ignorant and or ignored by God or not recognized. Legacy Standard Bible Verse 38 if anyone remains ignorant about this, he is ignored by God. Amplified Bible Verse 38 if anyone does not recognize this [that it is a command of the Lord], he is not recognized [by God]. ignored or ignorant means not to know For if we break or annul the least of these commandments, and teach others to, we will be called least in the kingdom; in addition, if our righteousness does not exceed that of scribes and pharisees we will NOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN Matthew 5:19-20 19Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches [†]others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20“For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Christ Jesus is with all of us, if we keep all his commandments or Laws, and NOT IGNORANT or be WILLINGLY IGNORING THEM ( 1 Corinthians 14:38) on purpose: Matthew 28:20 teaching them to keep all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Short answer: not as I understand it
@S.R.M.9 ай бұрын
Is there further proof that the Savior has the name YAH [I AM]? The apostle Paul before his conversion persecuted Christians, and was known as Saul. On the day of his conversion, he testifies to this: “While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am YAHSHUA, whom you are persecuting’” (Acts 26:12-15). It is a fact that at the apostle Paul’s conversion, he never heard of the name “Jesus,” as this name Jesus is not a Hebrew name. YAH is “the name which is above every name” given to Moses. The apostle Paul confirms that he heard “the name {YAH} which is above every name in his epistle to the Philippians, for he writes, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA, every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). There is no name above the name of “YAH!” “YAH” is “the name which is above every name,” the very name that the apostle Paul heard on the road to Damascus, namely, “YAHSHUA!” With the very name “YAH” that was revealed to Moses. Indeed, the apostle Paul heard the name which is above every name! Halleluyah, Praise YAH! “That every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.” The whole world must know this one name unfortunately “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:14). There will be few that find the name of salvation, but there will be many who deny it.

Post 1 I disagree with you, Dr. Brown regarding 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 and the cross reference 1 Corinthians 11:4-7; More importantly, I don't think either that these Texts contradict, we agree on that point; however, what is the meaning of the verse in light of all other Scriptures say on this subject, needs to be examined. The Holy Spirit who inspired these passages thru Apostle Paul has not limited to the instruction only to that particular culture of that day, and the same rhetoric of other preachers or teachers that women hasn't received the education. If the Lord God who inspires the Scriptures would have included in our Holy Write for women to be pastors or teachers or to speak in the church than so be it. Amen; but this is not the case. The latter statement is true how men were the ones who had the educational background but this doesn't mean that women can violate or break Christ's Law, including the men who are teaching women to break these commandments of the Lord. Doctor Brown and so many other teachers. The same chapter according to 1 Corinthians 14 verse 37 "If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize that the things which I write to you are the Lord’s commandment." Also, this text wasn't a quote but commandments from the Lord to those who say it's like a quote. I do think women can be deaconess, Romans 16:1 the word servant there is deacon, as in 1 Timothy 3:8; women can handle business affairs in the Church, preach the gospel to others who are not saved. In addition, older women can teach younger women how to obey their husbands etc according to Titus 2:3-5. Side note, in 1 Timothy 3:8 the deacons are not Bishops, Pastors, or Teachers but are servants in their particular church, assisting the Bishops and Pastors. However, for women to teach or have authority over the men, in a setting at the Church or Home to learn the Holy Scriptures, the Bible is clear according to the New Testament: 1 Timothy 2:11-14 11 A woman must learn in quietness, in all submission. 12 But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. 13 For it was Adam who was first formed, and then Eve. 14 And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, [†]fell into trespass. 15 But she will be [†]saved through the bearing of children, if they continue in faith and love and sanctification with self-restraint. Some of teach that women can preach or be a pastor love to run to the Old Testament examples of Deborah and the other prophetess whom Isaiah the prophet had a son by. Dr. Brown said "its the custom for the men to sit on one side of the room or meeting and the women on the other and hasn't received any education" 1 Corinthians 11:1-15 LSB 2 Now I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold firmly to the traditions, just as I delivered them to you. 3 But I want you to understand that [†]Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of [†]Christ. 4 Every man who has something on his head while praying or prophesying, shames his head. 5 But every woman who has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying, shames her head, for she is one and the same as the woman [†]whose head is shaved. 6 For if a woman does not cover [†]her head, let her also [†]have her hair cut short. But if it is disgraceful for a woman to [†]have her hair cut short or [†]her head shaved, let her cover [†]her head. 7 For a man ought not to have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of man. 8 For man [†]does not originate from woman, but woman from man. 9 For indeed man was not created for the woman’s sake, but woman for the man’s sake. 10Therefore the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. 11Nevertheless, in the Lord, neither is woman [†]independent of man, nor is man [†]independent of woman. 12 For as the woman [†]originates from the man, so also the man has his birth through the woman, but all things [†]originate from God. 13 Judge [†]for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him, 15 but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? For her hair is given to her for a covering. 16 But if one is inclined to be contentious, we have no [†]other practice, nor have the churches of God. First of all, 1 Corinthians 11:4-15 isn't in a Church setting rather in a private setting; at home or in a separate room where a man or women can pray or prophesying; it does seem it could mean in the Church for who will be listening to you while you prophesy but many a times prayers can be conducted at home. Yes, this was written to the Church of Corinthians context will inform us whether or not if it, most of it is in a Church setting or at a Believers home, but not all. So if this is to mean women are to pray and prophesy in a Church setting, where is this as an example for our learning in Scriptures, besides this text which coupled with 1 Corinthians 14:35, there is certainly a contradiction? No where to be found, except, in the minds of those who are disobeying the Lord. I conclude as put all other Texts together concerning the "praying or prophesying" text that it is possible it is in a private setting. To underscore this point, Paul does say in 1 Corinthians 11:17-18 "you come together" and "you come together as a church" but in verse 1-16 these phrases or statement are not mentioned.
