Ah gives us also more back door equity if running into 2 pair. AT to go broke is a lot better than AA or KK since we block sets and 2 pairs. He will raise and go broke with KT QT as well and still a bunch of draws.
@Niko-we8tz6 ай бұрын
@@RaiseYourEdge Without running that spot I'd think it rlly depends on whether he has KT QT at non-zero frequency, because otherwise AT is a pure bluffcatcher . Something to consider is that hes raising vs 75% flop sizing. To me that size is prefered but i got the impression lots of tournament regs bet this spot very high freq and go 1/3 (maybe not in 5ks). Do you range bet this board and how often do you use 75% there?
@RaiseYourEdge6 ай бұрын
We have 2x bounties. He can have down to all suited Tx flushdraws, all sorts of 7h6h, KhT QhTh and even run it with some KT QT. This is not even close.
@Niko-we8tz6 ай бұрын
@@RaiseYourEdgeI assumed BB goes with every fd + gutshot /fd + pair/fd + 2 overs on the flop. KT has 18% against your get in range QT 16% from BB perspective, so doesn't make much sense to play them like this in my opinion even with the bounty. If you exclude these you got 31% against the get in range.

@scottmeredith6 ай бұрын
Opponent is generally taking big bet / check on this texture flop. Checking range is built around our Ax (that don’t need to bluff or bet for value), low pairs - 6x/9x (that want to keep the pot small and reach showdown), 78s that wants to take its equity. I would expect villain to bet most Qxd-Jxd on the flop as bluffs with back door potential and good blocker candidates. When we arrive at the river (when our opponent has taken a passive line). I expect to see river bet heavily weighted to 9x of which there are many with off suit variety. I’m interested in whether Hero should check range on this river? What do you think….
@scottmeredith6 ай бұрын
Seems like checking range is good option. We can’t really bluff the river for a big size because 9 is such an awful card. So, feels like we should be throwing in block bets and large percentage of checking. This way we avoid over folding (with our best possible hand) when taking this line

@RaiseYourEdge6 ай бұрын
@@Mikelarry993 No offense buddy, but I can clearly see you never studied ICM. Under ICM we in fact want to do a bunch of 4bet shoving suited Ax and Kx against aggressive 3bettors even if we risk busting. Even IP we do it. If you want to argue, I have no problem to discuss it, but show a bit more modestiy if you clearly have not put in the time to study ICM and FT spots thousands of hours as we top pros did.

@@RaiseYourEdge however and whatever I've studied or haven't studied has nothing to do with playing a little tighter man.... Sure I'm not a pro or think I know better than most even if it seems that I do. I just think if you folded that hand played a little tighter putting aside GTO you would have made more money..... Yes your play might be profitable in the long run but isn't gambling less on a final table always the better option? That's what I don't get. I totally agreed with you about what was the better play when villain 4bet shoved on you with k6 of diamonds.... And honestly I have a strong take on my opinion because everytime I do the same thing against a wild opponent or just because it's the GTO play and it fks me 80% of the time. So when on a final table I play the tight is right unless playing for bounties and if I'm chip leading.... But you weren't playing in neither of those spots.... Mike matusow said it best.... FK GTO tight is right on a final table. I think since I started playing that way my cashes and deep runs and wins became more frequent.... I definitely could study a hell of a lot more but I don't think it will change my opinion

Big fan of your business, even if Im playing live poker only. Anyway, honest question, that you probably answered 74 times : Since its proven that computers cannot generate real life random and that its pseudo-random instead (pseudo-random is proved to have repeating patterns), how can you fire that much money in online poker if it will never be real life random? Its legit a real question I have, there are clearly some beating patterns repeating itself. For example, it would so easy for a big poker company to boost AX (low kicker) vs AX (high kicker) and yes I know what variance is. Cheers!
