Before induction of EVMs,booth capturing was rampant and EC took no action. Cases filed in Courts took almost 5 years in deciding the cases.Atleast booth capturing has reduced to almost zero.

Agreed SCI cannot micromanage and Its the EC which has to be ensure no Model code is violated but If the EC does not take cognizance and decides to be delinquent and obsequious towards ruling party then what is to be done? It is evident from the incidents so far even to a person with an IQ of 50 that the EC is guilty of being partial, unfair and is looking the other way to all gross violations so wat is stopping the SC taking Suo Moto cognizance unless even the SC is complicit
