Great video. I just ordered the dummy battery as I did not know this was a requirement. I got the CAM Link from a local place as I am all about supporting locals as much as possible. I don't want to look like a POTATO for my very first live stream. Keep up the videos.

For example I want to change the ISO setting using my PC instead of using the camera LCD screen. I use the A6500 (which is actually older than the 6400, thanks Sony for your weird numbering scheme), and the 6500 works perfectly, so the 6400 should be just as great!

Hello friend, one question, do you recommend the Sony a6000 for long streams, I have a little doubt and fear since I do live streams on twitch and they are long maybe 4 or maybe 6 hours and obviously the camera will be connected to a fake battery connected to the electricity all the time, that's why the reason for my fear when streaming I don't know if the camera overheats they told me that the Lumix G85 doesn't overheat in video and I don't know which one to choose I would appreciate it if you gave me your opinion, I hope see your answers, thanks.

After watching this video I ordered a Sony a6400 and got the camlink 4k. But I can't get it to work with obs sadly. The camera shows on the camlink app but nothing when I set it up on obs. Can u help.

Great video man. Sony a6400 is plug and play through there program remote. Have you tried using that before you used the capture device? I am wondering how much better this capture card makes the picture vs the software (sony remote) I am using the sony a6400 and the remote program but the quality of my recording fails in comparison to what it looks like when i record on the camera. Also could you please please let me know what settings you are using on your a6400 when you stream? Iso, ev, flash, shutter speed etc Thank you so much.

When I put in the HDMI cable in the a6400 the output setting is 4K. I want to have the output setting at 1080p, but that option is greyed out with the HDMI cable connected. Do you have a solution for this?

Answer: I figured it isn't an issue unless the camera forces a shutdown. I actually dug some more and found the setting that will force it to output 1080p over HDMI even if the destination accepts 4K. In case anyone else has this issue, they got to "4K Output Select" and select "Memory Card + HDMI". If any other setting is selected, the camera will default to 4K 30.

@@jhnswrld9497 You don't have to use it. The extension is used if you have a bunch of USB devices plugged in already and the space is tight, or maybe your PC is up against the wall and you don't want the camlink and hdmi cable sticking from the back of the PC so far. Hope this helps. :)
