Within a few years the interest payment is going to be the largest single item expense, more than Social Security or Medicade. It already takes up nearly 25% of the revenue the Federal government collects.

I heard $70,000.00 a second goes on interest alone. You're exactly right, it will be the highest expense in a few years.

Too much spending!! Tax has gone beyond what should be legal! Taxed on what you make, taxed on what you buy, taxed on what you”own”, taxed on what you sell! Think on that for a Minute🤔 Who is representing the American citizens! There is no representation for tax payers🤯

So they get around 3 trillion from taxes, and they spend 7 trillion. Yeah, they spend too much. How about if we disagree with a corporate tax cut, we can boycott that business. That would require honest media to bring attention, but there aren't too many honest folks in dc or the media.

Im all for a strict %age, I think thats the only fair thing. It shouldnt go up or down depending on how much or how little your income is. A set percentage. Say as an example, 17%. So you make 100,000, you pay 17,000, you make a 1,000,000 you pay 170,000. It should be a flat percentage.. raising it up because someone makes more is silly, they are already paying more, so how is it unfair?
@kyleRS87

Government should also provide receipts for every dollar spent so it’s all accounted for. Shouldn’t be an issue with the 87000 new irs agents
@user-oh3lx9xf9p
@user-oh3lx9xf9p 16 күн бұрын
@@kyleRS87 I completely agree with that. If they are having issues with a lack of employees to help out with it.. maybe take some of that money they are dishing out for foreign aid or illegals and reinvest it in our own government so they can create new positions.. 80 billion may not go far funding a war, but 80 billion could last quite a while breaking it down, spreading it out over the years for paying people regular salaries to do audits at the IRS.

A flat tax would be a break to the wealthy. Instead of paying $370,000, you want that millionaire to only pay $170,000?
@user-oh3lx9xf9p
@user-oh3lx9xf9p 16 күн бұрын
@@Duude125 if everyone is getting taxed the same rate, how is it giving them a break? Everyone would be paying the same percentage of their income. The numbers I gave were just an example. But yeah. If it's 25% (because the math is simple on doing it that way) with 1 mil they'd pay 250k, while a person making 100 pays 25k. % based seems pretty fair to me. In the scenario I have given, how or why would it "be more fair" to tax them a higher amount? They are being taxed at the same % as the person who made lower income yet still paid 10× the dollar amount. It would be "their fair share" because everyone would be taxed the same... It wouldn't be okay so and so will get taxed... 13%.. and you'll get 22%... And oh yeah, you the person who is already paying 10x more will now be taxed at 50%! That's a crock of sh*t.

@@user-oh3lx9xf9p I just told you how the millionaire would get a break from paying $370,000 to paying $170,000, but if you think that’s fair….
