I have travelled throughout the country, West Bengal, Delhi, Sikkim, Andhra, Odisha, Jharkhand and i have never faced any breakdown issues in my vehicle, i never owned a toyota, i have an Alto, a skoda, and marazzo. If one maintains car regularly and drives properly it will never breakdown. So the reliabilitiy part of forturner is not that distinguishing factor

Just yesterday I soiled the fortuner with my xuv 700 on Mumbai pune highway, after the road completed the fortuner driver joined his hands and bowed and I greeted back in regards. Theres only tough hilly terrains like laddakh and north where fortuner can be useful. Baaki city and highway me Mahindra has the edge

@@Arshad74u Very true.. Toyota used to be reliable at one point of time but now its purely business. They earn more through service and spares. Fortuner, Innova no doubt are good cars but they dont have punchy engine, which is what Mahindra realised with Indian market and hence the sales numbers

Gagan bhai , i would like to correct you here , i own a 3.2 endeavour 2017 model , the service isnt as expensive as you are mentioning here , a regular oil change and filter change will cost only 7k (oil capacity is 9ltrs approx) , brake pads set (front and rear) cost 6900rs , there have been no reliability issues mentioned in any of the indian forums , just a few 2019 variants experiencing gearbox issue , and they dont over sell any additional services when you visit the showrooms / service centre ,

Problem India main nahi tumare main hai bhai... I own a Fortuner drive it for 80K ... No extra or unexpected expenditure till date. Authorize service center per 6-8K main service ho jati hai.. Minor service cost 1000 INR, Major service cost 3000 INR, Synthetic oil cost 2100 INR for 5L around aur kya chaiye tumko? 170 and 200 HP 180-190 KMPH ki speed... Kitna bhagaoge be... ??? Bhagana kyu hai bakki gaddi rok ke pel dege... Its a gentleman car 🚘 which run at low cost.

Nd ya reliability matters primarily.., u can take car any were or a country wide trip with no heart beating loud not knowing when it’s gona breakdown on middle of nowhere

Toyota KNOWS that there is no competition after Ford has gone out of the market and it was sold below fortuner in terms of pricing whereas abroad it was a competition of Toyota LC Prado and not fortuner.
