I'm currently sporting an i3-10105F (4C/8T) and a 1660 Super and it can handle pretty much anything I throw at it. Red Dead 2, Elden Ring (both at high 1080p 60fps). It's such a good little card for 1080p, not to mention that FSR will give it a few more years before it's unusuable

I have the Asus GTX 1660 super OC. Core i5 11500, 32gb RAM and an Antec NX410 case. The main thing is that I use 1080p video, so I have to compress for youTube and/or Facebook. The rendering times are amazingly fast.

I absolutely love the power efficiency of the card. My entire system can play most 1080p games at reasonable framerates while gulping down half the wattage of newer GPUs

I sure like the price point and size of the 1660 Super. It fits in most cases better than some of the 2000, 3000 and especially 4000 series graphics cards do. It also costs a fraction of what those cards cost. I also love that it doesn't need a ton of power compared to those higher series. It also runs cooler than those cards, so I don't need an expensive, complex liquid cooler for my system. It's still more GPU than any of the video games that I enjoy playing require. I can run all of my games except Solasta: Crown of the Magister (currently my most demanding game) on full settings at 1080p with no problems. With Solasta, I have to turn off fabric simulator and turn down the shadows and lighting settings a bit, but the game will still run smoothly without losing much in the way of looks. I'm running the potentially last model of EVGA's 1660 Super now with an 11th gen Intel Core i5-11600K @ 3.9 GHZ, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a Western Digital NVMe WDS500G1X0E SSD all on an MSI z590 Pro Wifi (MS-7D09) motherboard. All of it is in a Phanteks Enthoo case with all the fan frames filled with Noctua fans and powered by a Corsair CX 650 PSU. Runs great! Good video here! It really shows folks how good the 1660 Super still is today.

I use an R5 5500 on an MSi B450 Tomahawk Max PCB with 16GB of DDR4 and a 2060Super. It's enough for 1080P gaming.

the gtx 1660 super oc is a good card i buy my gpu at 2020 for 190€ and this days it costs 200-230€ a 3060 is not really an upgrade its costs 300-450€ for 300-450€ you can use too a 300€ 10GB RX 6700, at 450€ 16gb RX 6800 xt

Time Export of Video is no important for video editing. You can go for a walk. So the best idea is to get macmini pro with finalcut (you pay once and you get it forever with actualizations) I was wandering to get some GPU to my PC but I see for video editing it doesn`t make any sense. (I will pay simmilar money PC unit +GPU + software) Probably it is beter to sell my PC and get mac (I don`t play any games hopefully) And my computer will fit in my hand instead of having block under desk

actually yes since the gpu is too weak a 3070 would be best with 0% bottleneck (in 3d ud actually get a little since 6cores arent ideal)

GPU bottleneck, but the video is meant to showcase the GPU so the 5600x I assume is to eliminate any chance for cpu to interfere with results

1660 Super is a solid choice, but I would rather have a 8gb 3050 any day. They are 260ish right now too.

@@CuttinInIdaho dude I'm not downplaying the Rtx 3050 but it performance the same as a GTX 1660S and the 1660ti performance a bit more but as it's going the retail price sometimes is the same as a Rtx 3060 12 GB and just $30 or so is the TI version which performance hella more than it , I'm definitely not hating the card my friend had one but it's certainly a waste if there's more options in the same price range
