Is The Haunt The Worst Roblox Event Ever?!

I am actually quite happy that I missed the majority of the event. It wasn't what I originally thought it was going to be like many others believed. It was also very disappointing because it was the first Halloween event to experience, and all we had to do was to take pictures?! I will say that I was quite surprised that I won a category in the Scary section. Having 10% voting rank. Out of all the events this year, The Hunt is the one I enjoyed most because I had some spare time to play. The only downsides were the amount for games to play and the limited time. The other events came out at the worst timing and couldn't spend time on any of them.

Like minitoon said on Twitter, I respect roblox for trying something different, but I think they saw the popularity of DTI and tried too much to focus on that audience. If it was me helping to run the next event here’s some things I would do: Keep the community designed prizes theme- that was a great way to involve UGC creators. Make a final boss fight like in “the games”. Make the event last a month, the week-long events have felt rushed and a money-grab. Do not make “ranked” rewards, All items should be *possible* to unlock, but have them spaced out so some are more challenging than others, competition encourages the wrong sort of engagement. Don’t have more than 3 events a year, I feel like if they do an event for every “holiday” it will make them less special, maybe have one or two (summer and winter for example), that way developers have more time to work on it. Have a small team of roblox employees that focus purely on consistency between participating games, that way they can have characters and a story that intertwines, bringing the whole event together. Make sure that everything is completable solo, by all means make it easier with more people but by including steps that require multiple people to work together is deterring people like myself who like to take their own time without any “social” pressure to rush. As much as I love Piggy and Arsenal’s integrations, roblox should use these events to give smaller creators (devs, UGC, KZbin etc) a chance to promote their work. I’d love to hear other peoples suggestions too

Exactly. I get the unique idea of a costume party and it’s a good idea but Roblox players and community members do expect certain things. If the event was exactly the same but had integration with the games involved where they could be creative and have challenges and rewards etc then the event would have been a success. Because of previous events people were expecting to have to complete challenges and things across the games involved like all the other events. Also, the boss fight being a dress up challenge had people feel a bit underwhelmed as we had such a great boss fight in the games that expectations were high. It wasn’t a bad event it just missed the mark.l to be a great event. Never have or will say anything bad against the developers, that was all great. It was just little things if slightly different would of been awesome

The Haunt was so bad, I didnt even participate. And plus the screenshot submission didnt even work for some players (including me) so i was limited to getting any items. In total, I got 1 item from this event. And that was the Spider Necklace. Worst event this year by far. 😂

You know it's weird that we casually has a voice now especially since he didn't do a voice reveal it's almost as though a certain KZbinr was exposed as a controversial one and ruined the idea of people not having a voice in their videos

@ nah. That would not affect anything I do. Never used AI voice although tons of channels do use it. Not done animation prob like 11 months. Although did a mini one on a recent short. Cuz I want to do normal Roblox videos also
