It has a good throw to be a small light

That's an very interesting take on hiding the power port on a flashlight. Usually they have a rubber cap and that's it. This is honestly much better than using a cap or a plug that can fall off and get lost over time. I'd like to know how water tight over time such a thing could be though given how many time it can be twisted and untwisted.

Yeah I think it's much better for water resistance compared to the typical rubber charging port covers that you see. Seems to be holding up well enough to my twisting so far but I will post here if there are any issues with it!

People wanting a keychain flashlight should also review the Nitecore TINI2 and the Rovyvon A3x or A1x. The Ultratac K18 is larger, and more powerful than these.

Yeah I actually compared the original i1R to the Tini 2 and RovyVon A5X and a few other lights - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6K7p62carWJesU Planning to revisit this sometime early 2022.

Thanks for the quick review! This looks like a really solid upgrade to the older version. How does the size compare to the i1R2, is it any larger?

Yeah it's slightly longer and heavier than the i1R and the i1R2 but it does have roughly double the battery capacity (130mAh)! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching! BTW your DM11 video was really cool. Very tempted to grab one.

I appreciate a good flashlight. I really appreciate your review. Very professional. Can somebody tell me why it’s not very cool when a reviewer shines a light or laser at the camera? I can’t be the only one that gets irritated when they do this.

I generally stay away from shining a light at the camera but if its a tactical light I think its ok to demonstrate its blinding/ strobe capabilities.
