As in any niche, you always have updates in the latest technical gadgets. For the real enthusiast, a switch to the Iphone 14 (pro) is a no-brainer. I am convinced that an Iphone 12 is certainly not an outdated device, we have to agree with you!

I change/d my house every 8 -12 years depending on finances & needs. I change our cars every 3 - 6 years again similar but also age when purchased, mileage & condition! House phones changed twice. Corded to cordless to multiple handsets due to poor quality & short battery line. Now we just use broadband, WiFi & Mobiles( cell phones.) So why change your phone because the latest one has it the shelves? Did you know Early Adopters have big noses? Money keeps pouring out through them! We've making cars for over 130 years & there must be a new launch of a new model by some manufacturer every month! They shout it from the roof tops. Six months down the road they are on their Second Safety Recall which they try to keep quiet! Give it Six in the hands of Joe Public & see how it fares! Don't ever under estimate Joe. They locked him in prison awaiting trial. His Lawyer said he was bored & it was affecting his mental health. They decided to give him him two solid steel 3" ball bearings to play with! They came back next day & he'd broke them!

I just don’t understand this trend that all influencers seem to be following of comparing the new phone to last years and seeing if it’s worth upgrading from a year old phone. I’m sure that it’s a lifestyle thing of a non-rich older person, but I’m more concerned about is it worth upgrading from an 11 or not and why.

Thank you! I do want to tell people regarding the update to ios16, it does not support live wallpaper yet in the locked screen mode. Not a big deal for most people, it just was for me.😤

@@techtrends5899 yes, I am overall! I’m still learning the new features. I have an 8+ iPhone. Could be my phone because it’s older, but my fingerprint does not work anymore. After numerous times, I have erased and re-implemented my fingerprint. Still does not recognize. So I am taking off my fingerprints altogether. it’s only happened after the update. Wish I could turn back and update, but you can’t.
