Interesting. What would be the High Frequency equivalent of the Keysy (to copy, store and write onto other tags)?

@@QuentynTaylor Not as portable as the Keysy but muuch more capable! It would fill all the needs I'm looking for. It is a real shame it only works with proprietary cards (as stated in their website)

Keysy works with most systems like kantech ioprox but will not work with cards from cabnet locks as those are 1k cards

I see that people have had trouble with the Keysy working with non-Keysy branded cards or fobs. You say that Keysy will work with "cheap ebay tags too" but Keysy states that their device will ONLY write to Keysy-branded cards or tags. If that's true, I wonder if it's because they've set a password requirement in their firmware?

i think that it may be that they dont have the right kinds of tags ? the keysy tags are standard tags.... i may need to have a look and do another video :)

KEYSY MADE THEIR DEVICE PROPRIETARY. THE INITIAL RELEASE IN BETA MAY HAVE WORKED WITH OTHER CARDS AND FOBS. UNFORTUNATELY, NOW THEY’VE DOUBLED THE PRICE OF WHAT, PERHAPS, WAS ONCE A BETA OPEN SOURCE DEVICE. NOW THE CURRENT KEYSY DEVELOPMENT WILL ONLY WORK WITH THEIR TAGS….SOMETHING ABOUT A BLOCK 6 PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY RESTRICTION WAS IMPLEMENTED ACCORDING TO THEIR HACK5 KZbin INTERVIEW ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO (2022). I BOUGHT THE KEYSY NOT KNOWING, OR UNDERSTANDING, ITS RESTRICTIONS. I SUCCESSFULLY COPIED A KERI KEYFOB , FOR A TENANT OF AN APARTMENT BUILDING, TO ONE OF KEYSY’s PROPRIETARY KEY FOBS. THEN I TESTED THE KEYSY COPY RESTRICTIONS WITH MY GENERIC KEY FOBS. OF COURSE, THE GENERIC T5577 FOBS AND CARDS DID NOT WORK. SUBSEQUENTLY, THE ORIGINAL KERI FOB THAT I COPIED FOR THE CLIENT STOPPED WORKING AT THE SITE OF THE APARTMENT BUILDING. I HAD TO REPLACE THEIR ORIGINAL WITH A KEYSY FOB AND REFUND THEIR MONEY FOR THEIR SERVICE. I WOUND UP LOSING MONEY BECAUSE I HAD TO SPEND $50 FOR A NEW ORIGINAL FROM THEIR PROPERTY OWNER MANAGEMENT. IT WILL TAKE 6 WEEKS (PAPERWORK BUREAUCRACY) BEFORE MANAGEMENT ISSUES A NEW ORIGINAL KERI FOB, BECAUSE THEY WANT YOU TO BUY FROM MANAGEMENT. IT TAKES 5 SECONDS TO EMULATE AN “ORIGINAL” KEY FOB, AND ITS PERFECTLY LEGAL IN THE U.S. HOWEVER, COMPANIES, LIKE KESYS, WORK IN TANDEM WITH THIS PROPRIETARY METHODOLOGY TO DELAY OR PREVENT YOU FROM EXERCISING YOUR RIGHT TO SEEK CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF DUPLICATION. I CANT SAY THAT ANYONE IS AT FAULT -OR TO BLAME; IT IS JUST HOW THE BUSINESS WORKS IN FAVOR OF OWNERS RATHER THAN TENANTS. in my experience it will write to generic blanks if they are the right type

I ordered one and I wait for it to arrive. I have the chinesse device and I succsesfully copied a few tag, but it did not work with a newer tag(the device showed that it cloned it but I was not able to unlock the door...) Do you have any idea what could be the problem and that if the keysy will succsesfully copy that tag

the issue is that there are so many kinds of tags and encoding methods that it isnt just a case of using a copier unless you know what the copier will copy and what you have.

Great video , can you tell link with eBay tags can write keysey? I’ve been try bunch from Aliexpress but only keysey tags work for me. Second question chameleon is more advanced version of keysey is my understanding is correct? Thanks

actually the keysy is for LF tags the chameleon is for HF tags. re tags you can write the cheap LF t5xx tags should work fine

@@QuentynTaylor i still can’t find rfid 125khz to be work with keysey . I check bunch of them and all of them can be clone to keysey but no one can be written by keysey. If you have this one with work both ways please share that with me I’ll be Appreciate if you can . Thanks
