Is the MOZA GS really THAT good?

MOZA haven't been around long, but their products are making waves. I have the GS GT wheel in the ring, how hard does it hit?

Nice video, one tip is to get a Lav mic as the only thing that hurts the video is the audio quality (and remember half of the video is actually audio.) Otherwise the content was so good that I kept on watching anyway! Great job!

I feel it may be the mixer rather than the mic, as I'm using a Rode NTG2 mic on a cheap Behringer mixer. Could you say what about the audio was bad, such as whether it was clipping? I do appreciate the input, and thank you for the comment!

@@AlexanderRhodez Oh it’s a Rode shotgun mic!? Wow, I didn’t expect that. Are you filming in a small room? It sounds both compressed (not a lot of dynamic range) and echoy. Perhaps you could use a rug or a bed sheet to absorb some of the echo? Also is the microphone set for direction? Because it doesn’t sound like it was pointed at you, it sounds like it was pointed at the wall and was picking up the echo of your voice. It’s missing the base of direct sound like when an echo flattened the lower frequency. It’s a great video very informative! Just the sound is holding you back from next level content.

Yeah, this sounds like the limits of the mixer. The room is very small, but filled with a mix of hard edges and soft materials to direct sound in the best way possible for the room. The mixer itself just doesn't have a great pre-amp, and the NTG2 is famous for needing lots of gain, the result is quite a flat sound. I do have a mixer on my wish-list, but it's not something I can justify buying at the moment. Thank you though, it is far better to know what I need to aim for, and better audio is way up there.

@@AlexanderRhodez 100% the mixer holding you back. If you're streaming at all I highly recommend getting a goxlr mini (only need the full size if you want a voice changer)

Thanks! I am looking at getting a much more professional mixer as soon I can, however I just lost my 'real' job last month, so it may be a little while before I can get one.

Great video! I was really torn on the GS GT, as the previous version had alcantara grips which are horrible, as they wear out completely. So happy to see they finally put leather

That wheel looks amazing, I'm at a splitting point whether or not I stick with fanatec or move to Moza. I think I'm going to moza and save for a bit longer.

Fanatec have some good looking wheels too! What stopped me going the Fanatec route, was the difference between the look of a game-controller, or real world product. The Moza wheels look a bit more real-world like, and thus I went in that direction. The GS specifically because of the forged carbon look though.

Theree are som quality issues like cheap screws, ok switches...but it looks premium. Too $$$ for my R5...

To be honest, these are not quality issues really, cheap screws are just cheap screws. Quality issues are more on the lines of things being loose, which I have encountered, but it does appear to be quite rare. Thanks for the comment!

Wut the fukk does Alcantara V1 differ from Alcantara V2???

V2 has the ability to communicate through the pins, and wirelessly with a base via Bluetooth. V1 is only Bluetooth. The R5 does not have Bluetooth. So to use the V1 wheels (except ES), then you need and R9, R16, or R21. If you have V2 wheels, you can also use the R5. Thanks for the comment!
