I think the 737 max is better than the 737ng with range and technology. It only had soms severe issues. Other new planes also have isueses look to the a321xlr

As someone who works as a "instructor" (if you can call me that) on a 737NG simulator (All I do is show people how to fly that want to try for fun), I'm going get simply because I love the 737 too much. The cockpit bothers me for sure but I can get by with the beautiful exterior.

3:24 I don’t think they made the gear taller. They had to mount the engines higher hence the introduction of the mcas system

Not much higher but further forward and the engine are over powered in a way and with them being mounted further forward it can pitch nose up so mcas is there to keep the plane from going into a vertical stall
