Let's do some maths: Assuming you have 6500 gems in your account, you can either max out apprentice builder or buy builder boosts. We'll compare both. 1) Builder boosts: One boost costs 285 gems, so in 6500 gems you can get 6500/285 ≈ 23 builder boosts. One builder boosts effectively cuts 54 (6*9) hours of progress. So 23 boosts will cut 23*54 = 1242 hours of progress. That is ≈ 52 days of progress. And that's it, it's basically equivalent to 4 book of building on 4 buildings each taking 13 days to complete. 2) apprentice builder: Let's assume you maxed it out today itself with 6500 gems. In one day it will effectively cut 7 hours of progress (cause it takes 1 hour to do 8 hours of job). So let's see how many days will it take to complete 1242 hours of work, it's 1242/7 ≈ 178 days. So it will take 6 months for builder apprentice to give the same value as builder boosts. But now the best part is that you get to keep the builder apprentice after 6months as well! So if you're planning to play the game for more than 6 months and if you have 6500 gems as of now. Builder apprentice will always be a better deal than builder potions. And even if you don't have 6500 gems as of now, if you're planning to play the game for more than a year, unlocking builder apprentice and upgrading it gradually will give you benifits more than anything available in the game as of now.

Why upgrading not worth it? For 6500 gems u will get around 6500/285 = 22.8 ~23 builder potion lets say. 23 builder potion will give you value of 230 hours. If you have 6 builder it will give the value of 1380 hours. Where max aprentice builder will give value of 8 hours every day. So basically to get same value of the BP .. apprentice builder will return the value in 1380/8= 172.5 days Around 6 month only. And it will give more return after 6 month.

I have calculated the amount of gems for per hour boost it costs and finally got a positive result. Where BP takes 4.75 gems for an hour, AB takes only 4.25 for hour. While 1 builder potion comes for 285 gems and maximum 3 stands for 180 hours of boosting if there is 6 builders in the return of 855 gems. Which means 4.75 gems for an HOUR boost. On the contrary, apprentice builders 1 week's total boost, in lvl 7, is 49 hours. If u predict the possible amount of time needed to recover the gems u invested (6 months barely), then dividing it in weeks, we can clearly see it requiring only 4.25 gems for the work of an hour. In addition, there’s no limit. It’s unlimited!!! So chill guys, it does worth. 🎉🎉

(1). 1500 gems हमेशा reserved रहेंगे emergency के अलावा उनका use नही होगा और (2). 3000 या उस से ज्यादा gems इकट्ठे नही होते तब तक भी उनका use नही होगा... emergency में सिर्फ 500 तक ही use करूंगा जो मैंने कर दिया इस builder's apprentice को लेकर और जब 3000 या उस से ज्यादा gems इकठ्ठे हो गए तो सिर्फ 1500 gems तक ही use करूंगा....
