It won’t be anything to do with break in miles that usually limits overall power in high RPM that’s why they said don’t floor it until 1000miles. It will be the ESP still on even tho it’s been switched off fully, a lot of news cars are like this now still working in the background or when you go from 100% to 70/80% to adjust the slide the car will cut completely and think you want to straighten up! You’ll have to try dyno mode and run with no sensors no ABS to have complete control, IF it lets you at all that it

​@@schaefchen yeah this is excactly why you cannot touch the brakes on some modern cars after mild drifting even if u didnt use the brakes at all. Its really noticeable with cars that have open differentials. Mercedes (AMG) Traction Control is always on to a degree unless your in Dyno mode or you code it out, I can imagine its the same for the M5.

Besides the funny subtitles in the beginning 😉 I personally think the car has only one HUGE downside: The non-existing sound! 😲😔 Yes, we all know it by now, the car is heavy but as @schaefchen said: You don’t feel it that much. But what you feel and sadly not hear is the sound from the V8 (!!!) under the hood. That’s sad tbh. Besides all that: If I could afford it I probably would buy the G91 M5 and would have a blast on the Autobahn 🙏 Thx to Otto and Mani for the great video, I really had fun watching it ❤ All the best, Philipp

14:39 F90 is cutting power as well mid-drift, even after 100K KM. Doing this thing since new. As you said, if you don't lift completely the throttle, it lets you continue. Otherwise, there are chances for DSC to cut power and straighten you. After seeing your video, I have a much better opinion about the G90. Cheers!

Könnte der neue deutsche Hellcat werden. Bin überrascht das die tatsächlich noch mit nem V8 im M5 kommen. Hätte mir auch vorstellen können, daß es n turbo aufgeladener 4 oder 6 zylinder wird wegen der scheiß abgasbnormen. Der Sound ist tatsächlich echt geil. Nur halt um ca 100 DB zu leise 😂 Aber ansonsten geiles Auto, gefällt mir auch als Kombi wie auf den Bildern zu sehen war echt gut!

I have a hybrid, like the M5 and when I let go of the speeder, it use the brakes and slow down and charge the electric moter, maybe that the same with the M5 when you let go of the speeder. Amazing video and review as always 😁😁

I have a g81 from new there is a break in procedure but it isn’t mapped different and it doesn’t get different software after the run in service. BMW confirmed this to me. Surely the M5 must be the same
