I am old school. I can do without the ambient heating, and certainly without the heated seats and steering wheel. It if is cold out you are bundled up anyway, so just going into your car is just like staying outside. Anything else would be too hot, like most stores.

Interesting looking car! Very unique in style! I’m torn between this and the new Citroen c3! Love your review as always! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Reskinning a C3 and calling a Panda is ridiculous. The Panda deserves better. A 4×4 version of the electric new panda is going to be fairly useless until there's an electric version of Jerry Cans.

ITALY HAVE SOME GOOD CARS.🔥.🇮🇹.
@cinchКүн бұрын
They certainly do! And some cool tracks on buildings 😆 Would you choose the Grande Panda ‘Red’ or ‘La Prima’? /Sam

I really do think these low-ish priced Stellantis branded electric superminis are going to do really well. Most 2 car families with a driveway will use this as a daily runaround and have a larger SUV plug in hybrid as the longer journey main family car
@cinchКүн бұрын
That sounds like a great two-car driveway. Would you choose the ‘Red’ with the steelies over the ‘La Prima’ and its alloys? /Sam

Not true, cars are more expensive today, if you use auto trader archives and use CPI, cars are £6000 over priced, we in the UK are being ripped off.
@cinchКүн бұрын
That’s exactly how we calculated our stat and it produced the numbers on our video, showing a Panda 100hp in 2005 (£10k) would be over £17k in today’s money. You can check for yourself on the Bank of England’s inflation calculator if you don’t believe me /Sam

Love the car... maybe ill buy one

If you do, I am very jealous. Would you go for a La Prima or the Red? /Sam

Good review - yes lack of a heat pump seems strange. I had a Renault ZOE before that didn't have a heat pump and I don't think I could go through that again. It did have the option to pre-heat which I think the Panda has also but obviously that eats into the range. Looking forward to seeing the hybrid version. Will it be the same engine that is used in the 500x and Tipo hybrids?
@cinchКүн бұрын
Thanks! I'm also looking forward to the hybrid model, as it uses the same 1.2-litre 48-volt setup that the C3 does, so it's punchy yet efficient. If only they had space to squeeze the 1.5 of the 500X in. That with some Abarth styling would be very cool! /Sam

I feel like this new panda would be epic as an abarth, it has a really cool look. Stick the 1.3 turbo from the Alfa tonale PHEV but without the battery and it’d be epic
@cinchКүн бұрын
Totally agree. Another journo did ask the Abarth question and Fiat’s execs said ‘no plans’ 😢 Opportunity for a project car, perhaps..?

When the world needs smaller, slower and cheaper cars, what happens?

Certainly is a bit different

They’ve done a great job making it feel different to the Citroen C3. Would you choose the Grande Panda?

Who did the original review that everybody else has copied endlessly?
@cinchКүн бұрын
Hi Martin, if you’re wondering why the recent influx of Grande Panda reviews are all filmed in the same location, it’s because they were all filmed on the car’s global media launch. The world’s media attended this event over a handful of days and each journalist was given approximately 3 hours to learn about and then present video (or make notes for an article) on the car. Rest assured when we get a Grande Panda later this year in Britain, we’ll have much more time to do something totally different. Nevertheless, I hope you’ll agree we did manage to test a few different things (eg. real-world range and toughness) on this initial Grande Panda drive? /Sam

2 metres wide?? Is that correct?
@cinchКүн бұрын
That's including the door mirrors. Without them, the car's about 1.7m wide 🙂/Sam

@cinch ok, thanks.

Adjusted for inflation, yeah, what about that.. Did our income of money increase at the same rate? BS
@SamSheehan55Күн бұрын
Our stats are focused on the price of cars, not personal income. We thought it was an interesting point that this new Grande Panda is bigger, stronger and more complex than older ones, yet pricing is still roughly on par when corrected for inflation. Of course, if a person’s income hasn’t increased, that price will feel more expensive. But in reality, what’s actually happened is that person’s income has decreased in real terms. It's a challenge of today's world ☹Hope that clears things up /Sam

Rear passenger space is too limiting. I believe that fact was glossed over. This fact will be the downfall of this larger panda. It's like a panda with a pot belly that looks bigger but I added benefits. High marks for everything else except the high gloss black surfaces
@cinchКүн бұрын
Hi Seth, I do try to demonstrate that I fit height wise but that legroom is ‘ok’ rather than great. It’s pretty good for a four-metre car. The Grande Panda is shorter than a Peugeot e-208 yet there’s more space in the back, so I’d argue that packaging wise, it’s pretty good. And certainly there’s more overall space than a regular Panda. Would you have preferred less boot space and more rear legroom? Perhaps Fiat should add a sliding rear bench /Sam

here's the reality of the car enthusiast opinion, f**k the beemers, this is the killing of a classic cars, THE classic car, not the whole bmw 1 series restyling, that actully got better looking

Test through potholes - sorry - really? Every regular city road has these kinds of potholes and obstacles - you practically said: "Oh, this car can drive on the road." yes, it is a car, dough. As a former Panda owner, your Tough Enough is not enough. Sorry man, I spent 15 minutes on your video to figure out what about toughness? Do you know that Panda has nothing to do with panda animals at all?
@cinchКүн бұрын
We're going to get a car in the UK soon. How tough should we go to test it properly in your eyes? /Sam
@martinjones1033Күн бұрын
Oh my God. Can anyone do a vaguely different review of the Panda. Lazy.
@SamSheehan55Күн бұрын
Hey Martin, I commented from the cinch account to your other post, but we certainly weren't being lazy 😅 We only had three hours with the car on the same location as everyone else, so doing something different was a challenge. Which is why we set out to really test the toughness of the car. We've big plans for when we can get a car in the UK 🤞🏽

Biassed and overhyped reviews do not do buyers any justice
@cinchКүн бұрын
I can assure you I’m not biased at all, I was ready to slam this car for being short on character and real world range. As I say in the video, it’s full of character but a bit short on range, which is why for most people, the hybrid might be a better choice. That’s not biased, that’s buyer advice. Is there something in particular you don’t like about the Grande Panda you think I’ve missed? /Sam
