I definitely wanna try ishizu tear when it comes to MD, as a purely MD player I haven't had the chance to play around with the cards yet, so interested to feel how it plays. Might not keep with it tho, since I hear it's quite skill intensive with how many chain-links happen and stuff and I do like my unga bunga strats sometimes (I play a lot of Evil Eye lol)

If you aim for Tear Ishizu i think just craft the keldo & kelbek instead of gacha. 120 cp is not that much. Gravekeeper's trap is optional and assuming we'll get complete tearlament cards on the next pack, you don't really need it, as it would be better to maximize the advantage from the mills.

G Golem Crystal Heart is REALLY good in Cyberse decks. However, you only need one, and it's an SR, so if you don't get it by happenstance while hunting Ishizu cards, just craft it.

Even if you need the UR mats, I'd argue for just not spending gems on this pack and waiting for Tearlaments. Simply put, you realistically, unless you just DESPRETALY want to play some off-meta jank with the Ishizu cards, do not need the cards right now as they have very limited use and when tears come out, the gems you spent for UR dust here could have been more pulls on the tear pack, which means higher chance to pull the tears you need and you'll still be getting crafting mats, which you can then turn around and make the Ishizu cards. This is just an assumption on my end but I suspect tear will probably have 5 URs: 1 of the main deck monsters, all 3 fusions and 1 of the spell/traps (I'd guess the the field spell or scream), which, assuming they come in without hits as a worse case scenario, means you'd need to craft/pull anywhere from 8-12 URs depending on the build. It's safer to assume Tears will be expensive, save your gems for them and craft the much cheaper Ishizu fodder because you'll likely need to be pulling a lot on the Tear pack. just my two cents.

If you think of them having similar rarity with scareclaw like in the tcg you can probably expect reinhoheart, parlereino, kitkallos and kaleidoheart. Rulkallos could technically be a ur as well but it seems like too much having 5 urs so they could make one of the one of fusions a sr to avoid blatantly overprice the deck

If you're a competitive player, there's nothing else worth pulling for if you've been playing for a while. You probably already have Runick Spright built because you bought packs when the Runick and Spright packs came out. You almost assuredly have all the main staples you're going to use (and likely if there are any you need to get are master pack only, so you can't convert your gems to them effectively). You may as well pull on this pack, hopefully pull some of the Ishizu's and get a little discount on crafting materials as you get the full engine together.

I tried to RNG roll, only received 1 SR Ishizu card, after my 2k gems, I'm f2p. Thus, I dismantled some UR and SR to craft the rest of the Ishizu cards and Kurikara. Edit: Time to hope for another Gems Event soon.

While I changed my mind about G Golem, I did not have any CP for the Isis engine, so I committed. Thankfully opened enough G Golem to craft the other UR, so I'll save gems again. If I really want to play a strong control deck, I can just build a control Tear Deck or something like Spright Runick.

idk if i would be pulling from a pack with the only intention of getting dust from it i would still open e.g. the spright pack (or some secret pack of an archetype i like) to potentially pull a really sick royal or at least some cool glossy cards. I did that with the swordsoul reprint pack and got rewarded with a royal chixiao which made me really happy. but yea I probably wont buy a single pack from this new set

@@solemnyugioh yea if there is nothing else to pull from it can make sense of course, just for me personally i still want to pull other cards so id rather just invest my gems into those packs and craft the ishizu cards from dust. you got pretty lucky but theres a good chance someone would be spending over 4k gems on that pack without pulling any of the 2 URs

They really need to trim down the selection packs. Literally pretty much all of them. You'll pull everything but what you intend to pull half the time and it's more frustrating than rewarding. Like half the URs for packs aren't even ran in the other half of packs decks. I spent way too much Gems just trying to get cores and get everything but the core.

Pro tips: make a complaint about the pack or Konami to get the good cards that you want, or maybe you can get the royal one too. This video can be the proof.

@@jimtsap04 craft exist. And dust from gold battle pass. Believe it or not, I did craft all the spright cards day 1 cos I have 3k gems and I only got 1 blue, 1 elf. And I'm a f2p. By now I have back 5k gems and 30 dust. So I'm pretty sure as long as I did all the daily and events, I will have all the tear and ishizu cards no matter what my gacha result will be. I mean, what's the use of dust if I'm not using it. I'm confused why ppl always save so many dust, when in the end they always have a leftover. Konami wont ever release a sudden pack without announcement / leaks.

@@reisen9584 this is a situation where you need at least let's say 9 tear urs if they prehit some of them and 4 ishizu urs, who in their right mind would pull for ishizu and craft tear instead of the opposite? Also you can never have enough ur dust, if you are trying to play the game long term and build a lot of decks, especially meta ones that komoney tends to make chock full of urs you need to be as efficient as possible with your ur dust, for example here I've recognised that it's not efficient to pull out of a pack that I only need 4 urs so I crafted them, going from 420 which some would say is a lot to 300 which is starting to get a little thin

@@jimtsap04 that;s the problem. Fomo stuff. I'm not trying to build a lot of deck like you said. I only build a deck that I know will never get bored. I currently have striker, branded, live twin, labrynth, spright, and runick. I hate long combo and synchro deck. That's why I still have enough materials and gems to play the game. I wont pretend I'm a whale. If you're an f2p, act like one. Do not ever build a deck that you wont be using it again by the time the new pack comes. Of course you wont have enough gems, no matter how efficient you are at saving gems.

@@reisen9584 if you're f2p, get your daily 145 gems, complete events and are efficient with your spending you can craft minimum 1-2 decks every month, and once you get ahold of a lot of staples you can do 2-3 decks every month. I've yet to spend any real money on the game and have filled all my deck slots with different deck types. You don't have to play like me but if you do you don't have to restrict yourself to only a handful of decks and have so much more freedom in deckbuilding(which is my personal favourite part of the game)

I think your biggest talking point wasn't so much that pulling the packs was worthless as it was a criticism of surrounding highly sought after cards with what would be considered to be filler on a competitive level. We know Konami knows this process well LOL.

Honestly i don’t think the preemptive banlist was enough for Ishizu, especially since Kitkallos will 100% not be banned on release. Should have made all of them 2, maybe even make the millers 1.

It's just a tear prep pack. I usually make it a habit to almost exclusively craft one ofs or master pack cards unless i need to finish off a deck. Definitely going into the pack for the ishizu cards and dust since i have nothing else i want to build until tears with my current ur dust

HEAR. ME. OUT. Try running 3 fairytale snow and 3 necroface. Necroface is a banishing card allowing for crazy numbers because if you normal summon a necroface not only does it allow you to reshuffle every single banished card, it gains 100 attack per banished card FROM BOTH PLAYERS. It banishes 5 cards from BOTH DECKS and with snow banishing 7 more per special summon, numbers will start rising!

Just do the math on your own( to the person who reads this) When you arble to reach diamond 1 ( from platin 5) alone you get 1700 gems for the daily mission you get 145 gems every day 145 x 31 = 4495 In duelist cup you will get up to 3100 ( or even more) In total this is: 9200 !!! You just have to do the in game stuff. next month will be the same Its not a waste aslong you just spend the in game gems And ihshizu will be tear 0!!

Also can't help but notice you haven't purchased the gold pass, which you should because you get the gems back and a sizeable amount of UR dust on top.

Kurikara u need only 1 copy in your deck building just in case to f@#k up your opponent especially your lost coin toss and force to go 2nd, as kurikara can be otk enabler can win you the match out of no way. But your want to build a board breaker, 3 copy kurikara is a must.

Would happily spend money on this game if the gem prices weren't laughable. At the current rate £100 wouldn't even get me 10,000 gems I'm sorry but when i can buy other yugioh games for £40 or less and get EVERY CARD IN GAME it's ridiculous i would expect AT LEAST 30,000 gems or more for that price. Especially with the rising cost of energy prices atm i simply can't afford to enjoy this game the way i want at the current prices.
