Is the new Switch Sports BETTER than Wii Sports?

I have chronic pain and can't do real sports but wii sports was my first video game we played as a family so I pre ordered it so I could do bowling and sword fighting again 😁 I had a lot of fun trying it out and I'm glad it tells you every hour you have played so you can take a break 😁

While I understand where a lot of fan's complaints are coming from, I'd say this game is great! While there aren't a ton of sports (yet?), each one is on a whole new level of quality. As my two favorite examples, the bowling feels great with the switch motion controls (play any indie knockoff of Wii bowling from the eShop and you will FEEL the difference!), and the sword gameplay is more advanced than "shake the controller to win".

The only thing i have noticed is that sometimes it doesn’t register.. i’ll swipe left but it’ll yeet the ball to the right instead or with the sword i do a sideways slash and it registers as an up down one.. other than that fun game

Haven't played it yet but i would imagine curve is from the twist of the wrist not the arc of movement. If that makes sense

Pro tip for PointCrow: The curving in this game works differently, it registers the curve by twisting the Joy-Con like a doornob when your swinging motion reaches beyond your thigh. You'll get a feel for it but you can't twist the Joy-Con while it's above your head and expect it to take a hard turn, it just doesn't work like that. But hey, I think this makes it more interesting.

@@Icybubba It's a bit different between the two games. You have to twist the Joy-Con like a doornob right around where you'd release the ball in real life for it to really take effect. So to get a hard curve in Switch Sports you need to time it and twist the Joy-Con hard enough

My only complaint with the standard outfits was it should of just been two types and you pick from the 8 colors for each one instead of forcing people to wear one or the other in order to use their iconic branding
