I re-uploaded this video because I had the incorrect fire rate in the original due to an issue in my spreadsheet. This has been sorted out so now you can see the accurate Fire Rate (314RPM) and Time to Kill values (0ms-191ms-382ms). Sorry for any confusion this may have caused!

@TheXclusiveAce Unfortunately, the "stock" options from the other M4 platforms remain locked to the Torrent. Can you please report this glitch? You can mix and match the other M4 platform stocks except this one.

​@@ni1469 Grau ironsights changed on attachments, not blueprints. Some guns' blueprints did have different irons, but you didn't need to buy the grau one lol

I also kept the blueprints irons when changing attachments on the print itself. It was the bling pack or something like that. Tracer rounds and some paint job that would be visible during a HALO jump

This gun has the closest feel to the violence of shooting a 7.62 rifle at high repetition. I love it.

For anyone looking at this gun for Warzone but especially DMZ. Unless you only plan on using the gun sparingly, the 50 round mag is a MUST! It allows you to carry 30 more rounds of sniper ammo then you otherwise could have. 50 in the gun, 40 in reserve as compared to 20-30 in the gun and 40 in reserve.

This weapon with a close range secondary is really fun to play, and even if you don't get the switch off you can still survive close up if you hit your shots or hit the heady. Overall, I have always been fond of the TAQ-556 with TAQ-M setup but now I really like the M4A1 with Tempus Torrent a lot better, sort of the same play style but I can be much more aggressive.

While not necessarily broken, I think it's another case of a post-launch gun being easily best in class. Same with the Hemlock and Broadise (before nerf). In fact, it makes the semi-auto Marksman rifles AND Battle rifles irrelevant now. Why would you ever run an FTAC Recon or EBR over this?

I'm having a blast with it, since its one of the rifles I've been nagging IW to add to their CODs since Infinite Warfare. It's truly one to use in BBR although I haven't try it in Ashika Island so IDK if its viable with my set up there, but it is viable for Al-Mazrah so there you go.

Work around on the bugged locked stocks. Select the torrent, change the receiver to m16 or m4, pick your stock, change back to the torrent receiver. The Torrent Tac Guard plus tuning, Ravage 8 stock, double time perk make some crazy crouch walking speeds. Get around quick without sounding like you have bricks tied to your boots.

It's 2 shot to lower torso range is like 15 meters less than the taqm but it can shoot 3 bullets by the time the taqm shoots 2. Also there's not really many practical lines of sight longer the tempest guaranteed 2 shot torso range

My favorite semi auto. I have to admit I've come around to the ftac after the lower torso damage buff it's so consistent which is amazing. But the tempest has that 20 round mag by default

My main/favourite gun in the game was the FTAC but I really feel as though this gun makes it so that I have no reason to use it over this, apart from potential TTK. I feel that this gun is just the FTAC but with a higher mag and longer damage ranges.

@@user-ve9tu5rv6e ftac is much faster ads and rpm with much faster ttk. If you miss one shot with torrent you’re pretty much over, but not with ftac. The only thing this gun is better is at 2nd range headshot potential. My ftac beats torrent user anytime with max rpm at any ranges. They pretty much doesn’t stand a chance at close range but my ftac can even beat SMGs.

It's a satisfying gun (Only just got it a few hours ago.) but it feels like it has way more bounce than shown. This could be the genuine visual recoil getting to me with the irons (I despise the irons they put on the M4 platforms) along with muzzle flash/smoke. But I just feel like I tag once, my sights are still on them as I pull again, but then I'm dead. Though that could in part be the rather suspect way the net code has been handling the free weekend and now the start of a double everything weekend.

4 months ago this video came out 4 months on I still love this weapon weather it's been buffed or nerfed to make it perform worse (is my point lo) it's not really going to affect it this thing kicks so hard , took a bit of mastering though I started with the scope you are given and then I put the cronen mini pro dot on and WOW so much easier and your faster than having to mess with a scope, my favourite for getting the job done quickly 👍

You didn't show the HC stats. I'm going to assume that's because it's a one shot anywhere on the body at any range-just using it, I'd figure this is the case. My question then becomes, how much of a loss of range/velocity do you lose using the 12.5" barrel for the ADS/STF bonuses? Does it matter in HC?

I loved this gun since the first time I had my hands on it, so it was really weird to see the incorrect stats on it. But even with this gun being so good, it still is far from the best in its type (2 shot kill). At close range, the Lachmann 762 is basically objectively superior with a 165ms TTK and a 1 shot headshot kill. But counting range and consistency. And according to TrueGameData, the SO14 has a max TTK of 125ms, but no 1 shot headshot so thats a total beast in CQC. The FTAC Recon is even more ridiclous, with a 1 shot headshot and a 110ms 2 shot kill! Even the LMS beats the Torrent with a TTK of 180ms and a 1 shot headshot kill. With that said, I prefer the Torrent, because it performs evenly no matter the range and because it just feels right. Its the most consistent and reliable of them all. Not surprising that this is the case, since its an M4 platform gun and their strenght is consistency, but they arent the best at anything.

This gun is practically impossible to unlock in Free to play Warzone 2.0, I had to get it through shipment 24/7 free trial, but man, once I did I did not regret it! Feels more like the M14/EBR of previous games than the actual M14's do.

I have to wonder if the mag sizes between this gun and the FTAC recon got swapped, because a 10 round default mag on a tac rifle seems way too small, and a 20 round default mag (and an attachment for up to 50) seems way too big for a marksman rifle, which is single shot only

Maybe? Kinda doubt it. A .50 Beowulf AR holds 10 rounds in a standard USGI magazine, whereas standard SR25 pattern mags are 20's. The Torrent/SR25 is meant as a higher ROF and shorter range option for the marksman rifle category. I was surprised it had 20's as standard and not as an attachment, but it's a new gun and IW tends to make new weapons better than the initial offerings.

Why do you favor verticle recoil over horizontal? I can't stand side-to-side jump, especially when tracking a moving target, verticle recoil is pretty easy to control on most guns as well, so it seems weird you constantly recommend the sakin tread which favors verticle climb over horizontal bounce control, if you get rid of the horizontal drift then recoil becomes twice as predictable
