Love mine but the bell crank, wing mounts, spur, pinion an servo is a joke for the money. Be prepared to spend a minimum of $250 after the first few packs

Nice video! Ya those plugs can be pretty tight, but I found that if you wiggle them apart stead of pulling straight out that they will come apart EASIER. Too bad about the XRT wing, they seem to break a lot, just needs a couple zip ties..LOL KEEP ON BASHING, OR RACEING! FROM LONDON ONTARIO CANADA

The motor mount came lose cause is to disengage the gears to slip away. Put some loctite to hold it so it won’t come lose no more.

would you recommend buying a XMAXX or XRT for first RC? i cant decide between the two

I wanted the Xmaxx but the XRT seems to handle better. Ideally both would be nice but if I had to pick id say the XRT. The body clips are better, it’s longer, lower center of gravity so it drifts around corners better. It flys very well and handles the abuse minus the wing. Can’t go wrong with either honesty

Once the XRT completely bash optimized with premium upgrades, castle combo, perfect pass servo, Futaba Rx/Tx, and all key afternarket upgrade parts… is it then the best? My opinion that nobody axed for; I think yes just because it’s so light. K8S all M2C’d is an absolute beast, but also an std infested battery r#pist and cell killer due to its weighing in at 50lbs. But I still prefer Kraton because of how easily you can modify and customize it. That metal chassis layout leaves the door wide open for all kids of fuckery.

I felt the same way. Seems Traxxas new releases go on sale after 6 months or they hook you up with something to go with the car. Also sometimes and it’s a big sometimes they tweak/fix something. But I couldn’t wait. I watched a few vids and I wasn’t convinced then I saw thunder RC drive it and I called my hobby shop and locked one in the next morning. Still have to go pick it up actually. Looking to it
