Nothing against this guy, but my experience with the Pro is no where worth it so far. I find no difference in the games, play, or anything what so ever. Can't even tell I have a new machine. I have no idea why it costs more, what it does that is so great nor even any idea why to upgrade. So far garbage.

I'm both a console and a pc gamer. I was shocked that my 3 year old now less than mid range PC with a 3060 gpu runs games running and looking better than my new PS5 pro. Fair enough I'm using upscalers and frame generation and I'm playing at 1440P not 4k. But still. This console is way overpriced, I don't know why I sold my regular PS5 to buy this... I'm definitely refunding it. I feel sad that I no longer have my old PS5. I'm just going to use the refund to buy a 4070 Super graphics card, a new I7 CPU and some extra ram for my PC. I'll get waaay better performance and visuals. I may just be done with console gaming until the PS6 is released. I'll just have to put up with waiting for my favourite PS5 games to be released on PC.

Ps5 was a generational upgrade from the ps4. Ps5 pro is just a mid gen refresh for the Ps5. Not that surprising that it got a lower score than the original ps5

I have it is all around better than the PS5, and for some games, you can see the developers put in some work. i can see why some people who have it now say they cant go back to the regular ps5. but online videos are not going to show you the difference. i would say if your a new ps5 buyer save the extra 200 and get the pro its worth it, if your a old disk drive user like myself, i can see why you would be upset having to buy that disk dive to play some of your older games.

Will drop this here about my serious concerns in terms of quality PS5 Pro. The bottom plate of the heat sink has a CNC witness marks on the surface!? As most people probably know this side must be flush for best heat dissipation from the processor. This is a big red flag. Imagine you buy a new CPU cooler and the bottom of it is not perfectly smooth? You're welcome 😉

You can easily spend $800 and build a decent rig that trumps the performance on this thing. And don't forget free online multi-player whereas here you're paying for Plus, and if you want the attachable disk drive that's another $80. So in conclusion, buy a PC, or just get a standard PS5

The problem is that the Pro is an inferior performance value compared to AMD's own RX6800 which literally cost $350 and came out in 2020. So basically Sony just released a 2024 "Pro" console that cost more and is inferior to AMD's own 2020 technology! What happened to value in console gaming?

Nope not worth it at all the graphics is still similar to the PS5 or the slim. I save up more and get like a RTX 4060 laptop that costs like less then $1,500 or higher RTX. Yea is more expensive but your getting something with far more superior graphics and better ray tracing. $700 on a console with very minimal visuals is absurd to me wouldn't recommend it. In the box I don't think sony even included the foot stand for the pro again lol.

LOL, A 4060 laptop gpu isnt the same as a 4060 Desktop gpu which laptop gpus are extremely weak And and 4060 vs ps5 pro ya the 4060 might be a little better but both kinda mid. Get a desktop pc with a RTX 4070, 4070 Ti or something higher then you can say its more superior

I'm a Playstation console player, I don't care if you can build a PC that's better than the PS5 Pro. Yes, it costs, but I don't understand why everyone complains about the $700 price, now the PS5 Slim costs about $500 and only has a 1TB SSD, we're talking about $100 more for the PS5 Pro because it has a 2TB SSD. In my country, a PS5 Pro costs $940, but I buy it anyway. Sold my PS5 Slim.
