Proxy is and has been my go to putter for throwing and putting. Electron soft is magic once it's beat in. They go far

I recommend the neutron soft plastic, it's my favorite MVP+ plastic. I bag a proxy, Envy, and Uplink in the neutron soft and a Atom in the R2 which has similar feel for all my throwing putter needs.

If you just get an envy at 165-168 neutron they often fly like a nicely beat in envy. Proxy are great putting putters.

I've putted with Proxys before, feel great in the hand, and I actually throw a cosmic electron soft Envy for what would be a typical Proxy shot.

I have a medium Electron Envy that has been used for about a year and a medium Electron Proxy that is fairly new. Maybe I just don't throw hard enough or play often enough to break in the Envy, but it has hit a ton of trees. The year old Envy still flies way more stable than the Proxy. My Plasma Proxy does fly similar to an Electron Envy though. For me, the Proxy just turns over too easily. I ended up replacing both the Envy and Proxy with an Opto Pure. Seems I generally just want my throwing putter to go straight with as little fade as possible and the Pure does that better for me than the Proxy. A little bit of hyzer and it will do what the Envy does as well.

Well, i have 2 proxys and 4 envies in my bag, every single on of those has their own purpose 😅 Totally would recommend every1 to atleast try both of them.

I feel that you didn't gave the answer to the question. Does the Proxy fly like a beat-in Envy or not? And what happens when the Proxy gets beat in after time? Wouldn't it be better to take the time to throw in some Envys until you got a variety of differnt flying Envys? (Or Streamline Stabilizers which is my favourite...)
