Is the receiver position for the Panthers a bigger problem than we think?

I agree. People need to relax. Yeah XL dropped the TD but how about the route that got him open? That’s showing promise. He destroyed slay on that route he just didn’t finish with the catch. He’s the guy and he will get better. He puts in the work to get better

Exactly man💯 a lot of people jumped ship early on DC and look at them now they love him as our head coach. We just need to give these young guys time before making crazy takes

Yes, and the people saying Panthers should take Edge/DT with the first round pick need to take a closer look. An elite wr can really help a young qb thrive. Burrow took off when he got Chase Allen took off when he got Diggs Mahomes walked into Hill/Kelce Stroud has Nico who has been balling Also, TMac is probably the best WR prospect in the next 2 draft classes. Considering Dave Canales has worked with Mike Evans, this should be an easy pairing.

If we ultimately did go WR, I wouldn’t be mad at all but I also think this defense class is crazy good and adding a mason graham or Abdul would go a long way to building the defense. And I don’t think this reciever class is ultimately that great compared to what we need and how good the defensive class is so TMAC is not a generational WR prospect imo

They need to go DT/Edge in the draft for sure. Bryce is only gonna get better on his own. The differences in him weeks 1 and 2 vs now wasn't by change in roster. Besides, between him and Chuba they can score 20+ points. Which is plenty if/when the defense can stop allowing 175 yards on the ground

Need to draft a receiver (or pass catching TE/RB) almost every year or take a chance on a UDFA like they did with Coker. Doesnt have to be the first or second round but it helps alot

WR is a need we can’t rely on Adam next year especially with XL dropping passes. Coker is solid but still need to get a WR in this draft that can catch with their hands

Absolutely agree but I think we shouldn’t go reciever again in the first round and build this defense if that makes sense. Throw a bag at a tee Higgins or someone in free agency.

@markbensley138 essentially at the moment I have Abdul and graham as my 1A 1B but I still believe defense should be the first pick no matter what unless something crazy happens the last couple weeks. Also James pierce out of Tennessee I really like him
