This is scary. The massive Rook nerf has arrived on the live server. And there are a bunch of new changes. We have 2 different Rook builds loaded up and the Revenant got a nice double buff too. 2 physical shielded robots, one nerfed, one buffed. The Rook has been part of the Titan meta for around 10 months, since it was released. And now that might be changing. It has also become one of the most popular titans for good reason. Lets find out. At 13:43 you weren’t healing because you had rust stacked on your robot, which is why I hate those weapons. If you’re a healer or a tank, your robot instantly becomes yak for 15 seconds or until you die because you rely on healing, not to mention they just do stupid damage. The best example is my Luchador is normally able to almost solo the entire enemy team, but as soon as someone brings out even one rust weapon, my titan becomes useless and healing is stripped away from me, so then I die in few seconds compared to possibly surviving the entire match.

Rook is an indomitable beast and would have shredded literally any Titan in the game if it wasn’t for the Rust effect! Now that Rust has got a noticeable nerf and on top of that we will have the new Mothership Avalon that not only removes Rust but grants immunity to it and heals Grey Damage! You can only imagine what Rook in its past state before the nerf would do without being affected by Rust and constantly repairing Grey Damage, it would be Nuts!!! So yeah, that’s why Rook got a nerf and because of course, Rook obliterating Eiffels it’s not good for their marketing plan to sell Eiffels as well! 🙂

Subduers were not nerfed even once and it was superior even before first wave of nerf to rust weapons. So today Curie with Subduers kill Rooks left and right easily. Turret shreds the shield, then one-two salvos of Subduers turn Rook into debris. My Rook dies literally in 10 seconds or even less.

@@SamePaul I know exactly what you’re talking about, but at least we don’t have some guy hitting us with a Tamer from 600 m while fighting another Titan and get us killed in even less time than what you’ve mentioned! Sure, Curie/Subduer problem persists but at least Rust is slightly less of a nightmare with the Damper and Tamer gone! 🙂

Rook is still a great titan you might really need that legendary pilot to make it a bit more better in terms of performance and as well as the Vajra weapons or flames or sonics mgs your choice Edit:You also need to be very wise using it otherwise you’ll die straight away if not used correctly

Use rook yesterday, it was fine. Just be prepared for your shields to be down a little longer when you swap them. I time it with a paladin shield to give a little extra protection when I got no physical shields on.

Eiffel with bendy bullets dominate Rook and everything else for that matter. Crazy how you didn't encounter any at all. Every single game I play has no less than 3 Eiffels with bendy bullets on the opposing team (usually 4 tho)

I am kind of impressed that I saw Sniper Rooks so rarely. I mean I saw couple rooks with one fulgur or tonans, but never full build. Just imagine. You are going up. You are immune to everything and everyone except for Erebus and mother ships, becuase their status effects go through physical shields. You are basically a Harpy but instead of reflector, you have shields

Imugi ability triggers kestrel heal three times per use. 5% heal + 10% grey on lift off, another 5%+10% in flight and another 5%+10% on descend. Try it. It’s totally nuts.

And this is going easy for Murometz through the firepower support of four Onslaught reactors. Murometz Combination of Stealth in the Air + EMP Attack is with the right playing more dangerous than Eiffel more firepower + temporary extra durability hp in the Air 😉.

3nerfs wasn’t enough to kill off the Rook. Everybody complains Eiffel is super op, and I can agree it is against regular bots. But in a Titan fight, the Eiffel doesn’t necessarily come up on top. Hmg weapons should be fixed so it don’t bend the bullets like over 90degrees. Ridiculous hard to find good cover from it.

Face any titan against a good player and the eiffel will still come out on top. Running one myself, (not with hmg, but Lance and glaive) it can be easy to take down IF you don't know how to play it. If you do, no other titan will be able to take it down easily.

The rook is still strong. Don't believe the hype the homing bullet eiffel isn't really taking out rooks like that most people run those titan repair amps. You can hurt them good but def not an easy kill. I use my cudgel dagon and hammer curie to fight rooks and luchadors, and any other brawling titan.

Normal nerf. Nothing crazy. Numbers are not that big. PLus with all you being immortal with TRAs, it only makes sense that you would be more mindful spamming shield replacements. At least Indra gets more breathing space. With less durable shields and longer windows Vajra Indra builds can get one or two extra chots in, before going invincible for 3 seconds

Im saying that there was just a massive rebalance and every top robot except for Eiffel and Dagon were nerfed. That wasn't an accident. So what I'm saying is for being such a short range weapon you have to deal as much damage as possible like the havoc or devastator. And yes the Eiffel and bendy bullets do need a rework but not a total trash nerf.
