I don't think anyone can argue that it's not great to have both wired and wireless headphones depending on your situation. And augmenting storage for super cheap sure trumps paying a $100 premium. And yes I use cloud service and Bluetooth headphones but I love not having to be pigeonholed into Less features for more money.

The S10e is a completely different phone. Way smaller display and probably way better future support than the A80. So i surely would buy the S10e, just because 6,x" displays are uncomfortable in my opinion and i would like to get a few updates in the future.

Samsung included this new sliding mechanism but excluded the headphone jack, microSD and ip certification. Being the first implementation of this mechanism, it is no surprise that other features have been compromised. I think that compromise is the main reason this was done on a non S or non Note device. It's possible that with further R&D, when the time comes to implement this in a brand flagship, Samsung may be able to do it without those compromises. ...just a thought...

I read a comparison report days ago, comparing the charging time of Galaxy A70 (25w) and Galaxy S10+ (15w). The result, not much different. So I guess 15w charging or 25w charging doesn't really matter.

No. Simply because the s10e is after all a proper S series. Its basically a smaller s10 without an indisplay fingerprint and a telepho lense. The s10e is a powerhouse beast.

What the Samsung Galaxy A80 has is what the S10s or S11 will have. That's why the S10 family adopted the hole punch display from the A8s. Samsung even said it themselves, that the same thing the A8s has the S10 family will adopt but with a higher resolution display and pro grade cameras etc.

I currently own a Note 8 and would prefer to upgrade to this smartphone over the upcoming Note 10 because I am not a fan of the center placed hole punch front facing camera. Just hope it arrives in the US someday.

Way too complicated camera system but I don't mind since I barely ever take selfies. The bigger problem is that there is no fingerprint reader on the back since it's the safest and most reliable option. No memory card will force you to upload all important files on some cloud drive which is annoying and the screen could've had more ppi density due to its size. I don't see how 650 euros is a "budget" phone and there are better options.

I actually use an a50s and s10e. Aside from build materials, IP rating and wireless charging there's not much difference between the two and the a50s has a very good in display fingerprint scanner which is ambidextrous in nature unlike side mounted scanner on the s10e which is a bit awkward to use if you're left handed (like me) and it's placed a bit too high. Bezels on the a50s are much smaller too compared to the s10e.

this phone suites my dad. he rarely uses a camera on a phone giving a longer lifespan on the motorized camera. And big screen because he kinda has blurred vision. no problem in maxing out the font size on the big screen
