i am currently about 40k XP from maxing the sniper. its by far the most fun. the amount of times my teamates leave the game or flame me on voice chat for no reason other than im holding a sniper is ridiculous. ill have most damage and elims in the whole lobby and they still yell at me, blaming my existence for why they cant get picks... your stances on this game is exactly my mentality when i play any fps. avoid meta like the plague and only focus on fun. we need more players like that.

I've been having a lot of fun with the throwing knives + dash on Lights, zooming around and strafing between throws. Absolutely does not work when the enemy isn't distracted by something else or fighting in a very open area though as they can very quickly focus you down. If you're indoors or they are distracted though, it does do quite a decent amount of damage even if it's just chip damage to help your team in the fight since you can duck out pretty quickly. It's also immensely satisfying but that's just me. On medium I've been having fun with the revolver because it's also very satisfying and it does melt enemies if you can hit their heads. Main problem is reloading takes awhile and dealing with super close range enemies is difficult because spamming it from the hip isn't great with only 6 shots max.

Actually using non meta items provides some good feedback to the developers too. It helps them when they are looking into balance patches. See what is being used, what isn't, how certain weapons hold up against others, etc. Everyone running around using the same items provides little to no support aside from the fact that these weapons are popular.

Another W take. I love this game already but im definitely afraid that it might be extremely hard to balance . Any buff to the light class will make any movement god an actual problem on this game . I hope embark pulls it off tho

I used to think the sniper was useless until I started using it. In the beginning of one match a dude instantly complained about me on his team. I did better than him across the board and won us the game😂😂 you say it perfect, people need to relax and have fun

I could post montages of enemy teams chasing me and trying to kill me because I've pissed them off so much by sniping and wiping them. It can be fantastic in the right situation! And it is a lot of fun to snipe in this game for sure. The AK wielding Mediums take offense to dying from something that isnt meta :D

First few days I heard a ton of noise about how the Medium GL is dog shit. Couple people flamed me for using. So far in my experience that is not the case and its becoming one of my favorite weapons even if it still probably needs a slight buff to see mass adoption.

Yeah see thats what I like to hear. Play how you want, actually TRY out stuff that isn't obviously good and see what you can do with it. And you're having a good time. I need to try the Medium GL I haven't used it at all yet. I'm working on Flamethrower right now... its rough sometimes haha

don't use sniper, everybody will hate you and think you aren't skilled
