Skill is making a huge mistake in not pre-charging the double shots. It allowed enemies to react and return fire several times in this video and it's an incredibly important thing to do with these tanks

For me was ST-II amazing before buff...and after buff its even better(4 sec. between shots is big deal, better turret armor is good too and speed of rotating turret epic).

I felt when the VZ got into the game it kind of stole the double shot spotlight even further from this tank. But now they feel much closer to each other. The double shot was always fun especially when you know where those fueltanks are. The only buff i wanted was a shorter time between the 2 shots and i got some nice bonusses on top of it. I'm happy.

2nd game is a perfect example of current gameplay and what not to do. You don´t push the flank the enemy is just camping at from defensive positions. They don´t want to attack then let them sit there till the timer runs out they will start to move sooner or later and then you can farm them. The problem is, mouthbreathers without any patience always must press w to facehug anything spotted so they die like sheep and you end up overrun.

I sold mine, one of the worst POS I ever played. I dont think these buffs will do much because the main issue is that it is slow as hell and everything but the turret front is paper.

Hey @Skill4Ltu... nice one. this tank looks like a winner from the last round of buffs. It would be nice to see how all the buffed tanks did develop, like some really got buffed and other only change some stats with close to no effect.

The ST-II will be good if it performs similar to the IS-2-II and IS-3-II, mobility, and gun handling

I would say gun handling is same or better. Mobility is a bit worse.

Current expectation values of ST-II are now higher than VZ before buff.

Cause only better players have it, since worse ones which have a brain didn't bother buying it, and now they are playing it, testing after buffs, without values being dragged down by worse players (it's crazy to realize that Vz had biggest dpg from all tech tree X ht tanks despide plenty of bad players playing it).

i dunno what wrong with the game lately but 2 minutes games are the problem, by the time i got to the position on ensk the score was already 0-9...and the game ended in 2:45...this is crazy...

This is the problem with world of tanks, WG literally put bots in the game to fill games. You can see it in every single game In NA. Theres literally people who drive straight in die, within 15-20-25 seconds. They're not players, They're Ai. People pay to play with Ai. They buy tanks, they spend money, to go into a game with 20 bots and 10 players. WoT should be completely free at this point.

This tank was my favourite tier 10 before the buffs, and I knew it wasn't competitive. Now though? I feel almost like it is balanced, but I do agree that they should have increased the gold penetration as well, at least 320 to match the new 279e pen.

I just bought this tank for the first time, it was unlocked for some time but i didnt realised how good this vehicle is. There is no such bad vehicle as players can be controling it. This is very flexible tank. You can play it as single shot (best dpm) and save another just in case you ll need it. Or you can finish off opponent by double shot. All in all good mobility, traverse and gun handling. As this kind of tank dont need rammer i use bounty: vents, turbo and stab. Vents boosts gun handling and dpm.. this is a beast when played properly. Armor is great with 140 mm on sides. And with 8 degrees of gun depression you have decent angle. So this tank can equally play good in city maps or ridge. I cant think of any other tank that can be effective on both terrain. My average dmg is 3200.. so for people saying it is a bad tank.. well.. hope to meet you in randoms to show you otherwise very quickly;)

a lot of ppl compare this tank to the vz but i feel it should be compared to the 60tp very similar playstyle's, speeds, armor and even alpha if you include the double shot layout but the tp's gun is just more consist because of the shell offset and charge time isn't worth the extra 120 alpha

I find that the is3-2 has a way worse turret. Gold always goes straight through face of it. Even tier 8s pen the face of the turret. I like both though

IS3 II is kind of a different tank. the guns behave way better and it is more nibble, but has way worse armor. you have to relay more on the mobility and snapshitability then on your armor. the armor is more of your last chance to survive or to be capable of peaking hulldown, then of bouncing every shot like crazy. ST II is more like an IS 4, while IS3 II is more like a WZ 5a

Tried this tank, it's shit. In the role of a heavy tank, better armor is required to justify double shot, otherwise it's already useless. Normal one after another shot is good enough. But the tank itself is not, because the armor profile doesn't permit an agressive gameplay. If it's about sitting duck, sidescraping, there are other tanks better doing this role. And the fact that the tank is slow, even when upgraded, doesn't allow taking advantage of opportunities either. It should at least have better torque/acceleration to peek and make use of double shots. Any uphill position, it's equivalent to autopilot + coffee. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good tank, in the hands of a player who enjoys it. But tier X is so competitive, it doesn't make sense to pick a tank for a role, when another tank can better fulfill that role.

Wot Games is one of the worst heavy tanks of the game. They need to put front armor on this tank. The chassis of the tank is a level 9 st1 chassis, so it is weak at level 10 and you need some speed. Similarly, Panzer 7 is also very weak.
