Today we are discussing if the new DLC is worth playing or a pass? this video is my honest thoughts during my gameplay hope it helps and feel free to share your thoughts as well and remember to be kind :) all opinions are valid but please respect everyone's thoughts kindly. THANK YOU to all who helped get me the DDV DLC on ko-fi , so I could enjoy it with you, I will be skipping any last names for privacy but thank you to jenn, John, the person who stayed private, kimk, kat,katherine, fireflyskies,Fuku, and nora . It means SO MUCH. These donations to ko-fi truly mean so much ALSO SIDE NOTE, so sorry my mic pop filter was acting up so sorry if some words are harsh with the "p" sound, and in some spots it gets quieter. I am enjoying it so much more than Eternity Isle. A large part because the storyline and locations feel more 'Disney'. Before the update I had started decorating my glade into a fairytale forest and I am so happy I can now basically do this across three whole new biomes ❤.

I agree! I feel like rift in time had great ideas, but the story was VERY rushed and fast paced, and the biomes were overwhelming. I enjoy that dlc for design but thats it now. But, the space on Rift in time wasnt as spacious like storyvale is, I think this is HUGE considering space fills up fast. Im soo excited myself to do fairytale themes !!

I have a theory that they purposely made the first dlc very lackluster just so this second dlc would be much more impressive.

This is my fave DLC, the only bug I have run into is the flowers under the bridge in the Bind. I had to force reboot. The glitch with Hades also happens with Merida. I really love the puzzles/trials tbh. More of my thing. Also obsessed with the new dress from the magical addition. I feel my cottagecore soul was definitely feeling cozy. The story is the best so far. 😊 great review bestie!

I’ve never been so happy with this game! I liked Eternity Isle but it wasn’t really a place I enjoyed staying and mainly liked having the deco items for my regular valley, but this DLC is on a whole different level and it only makes it better, knowing that we are getting such an unexpectedly awesome update soon (floating islands & being able to put things on a diagonal) on top of it! 🥰

yes I fully agree, I think im liking this DLC so much because it has such a fairytale like aesthetic and the biomes are my favorite style! You can also tell they really thought through each biome and all the new decorations. Its been so fantastic and I am already looking forward to part 2! the next free update with all these new goodies will just be the icing to the cake! Im so glad youre enjoying it :)

@ I literally almost wrote the exact thing in my previous comment about the next upcoming update being, “icing on the cake” 😂 The new foliage alone with this DLC is going to bring a whole new level of magic and creativity to our designs! Very excited to see what kind of creations ppl come up with, especially you! Did you notice that we can decorate that whole bridge and library area with the Lorekeeper in it? 🤯🥰

I totally understand! the spacing between parts, felt TOUGH with rift in time, but Im glad I got it because with the roadmap they teased, MANY characters will suit here well and I need the extra space for design content, the floating islands will only do so much for me with my content I do wish part 2 would be closer but they promised a lot of content so I guess we will see👀

I ran into the same glitch when I was hanging out with flynn in the bind and he ran in half circles all the way to the back of the ever after lol. Definitely made me laugh.

im so bummed out that non dlc owners only get two landscaping items from part of the dlc, its literally 2 mushrooms i wanted more than that but ya know everything is paywalled :(

Im a chronic restarter, but ive been playing since the beginning.getting it because hercules is an all time fave disney movie so naturally because of hades its a must. I love maleficent as well

2:43 I also have had this issue within the base game (I don't have either expansion yet), so I don't think it's related to either of the expansions, which is a good thing. However, this is a shitty situation. The only way out of it that I've found is having to completely close my game out without being able to exit the game properly.... saving is such an important thing to do routinely.

I ran into the camera glitch too! I was shocked that it happened. But it wasn't too big a deal because as you said, I just quit the game and rebooted it. I've been enjoying it regardless of the glitches. Flynn's puzzles were actually very easy, and I finished them quickly, as opposed to the puzzles we did back on Eternity Isle. This DLC is so jam packed with a ton of content and its beautiful!

yess, it was mostly just inconvenient to have that camera glitch, I can see it being an issue though if the game hasnt saved. Besides a couple crashes after I posted this video, it seems to be running well. For sure much better than how Rift in time was at first lol I am 2 trials in, and have all characters to level 10, and all map locations unlocked. I have been grinding so much for our build videos and Im still shocked I have SO MUCH left to do lol Im of course VERY excited to decorate soon too!!! Im really happy youre enjoying the DLC! They really outdid themselves with this one. For sure listening to their community.

EI with the machines was awesome. Theres snippet machines too! Not sure how they fully work yet but I 100% brought EI machines to the vale😂

I love the story vale much better than rift in time. However Flynn was broken I leveled up Merridae to 10 but can't fo any of her quests, since Flynn won't apologize to her. Can't pick up some flowers .

The DLC is great so far! I'm definitely enjoying the story more then EI! Also catching the snippets has been fun!! I've run into a few bugs which i hope will get fixed soon because I can't progress friendship quest but besides that I'm loving it so far!!! Nora the new craftable furniture Nora!! Its sooo gooodddd!!!! 🥰😍🤩

@horriblegamingofficial Yep, I reported them in the DDV Discord! It's Flynn's lv 7 quest, it's not triggering even with all the requirements met. I know Jafars lv 7 quest did that when he first came out so I'm hoping it'll be fixed in a week or so! qwq Also I can't wait to see what you and Jett design!! I have so many ideas with the mushrooms!! (So like one xD)

@@elzroni SO excited for the fall biome and mushroom one! i just did his level 7 quest so thankfully no issues, i hate youre going through this one but its helpful to know so others can be aware! good on reporting too, hopefully they do a hotfix soon!

I'm not sure I'll get another xpac of this game. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of content that was in the last xpac. I hope they still add new characters for the last xpac to make it feel worth it but I know they won't. So knowing this will get the same amount I don't think it would even be worth $10.

Totally valid. But I can happily inform you that this DLC pack already has double the content in mini games like puzzles, trials, decorations, and more! definitely way more content than Rift in time had. its much more immersive and the puzzles are wonderful and it looks like from how the story is being handled, we can expect more puzzles to come in part 2. I'm shocked by the amount of content and cant wait to see what part 2 brings. They most likely will bring more characters in part 2, since thats how rift in time was handled as well and they said in the showcase they are planning to handle this DLC with more content than rift in time had, so we can only hope they keep that promise :) I totally feel you on the last dlc, rift in time could have been so good but it really just lacked in content, decorations, and story. I love some of the biomes, but they truly could have polished it up better My only issue with this current DLC is just how its being handled time wise with its parts. I think spacing the parts sooo far out in between updates wasnt a great take, but hopefully it will be worth the wait since part 1 is going so well already

@@horriblegamingofficial I really only care about story in games. Collecting memories fashion and furnitures is absolutely boring. Plus 80% of the fashion is geared towards female characters. I don't see anything wrong with men in dresses or men playing female characters but that's just not for me. Also knowing it's in two parts really turns me off because I know there will be less story than the first. Personally I don't really trust anything Disney said in its showcases because game developers lie to get people to buy their games. It's not like you will get a refund if they don't do what they say.

I cried when Purchased the magical edition as it's pretty expensive. But it was the one I really wanted, and after playing it for several hours, I am glad I did! I think its totally worth the money!

@ thank you ! Good to know ! I like the Pegasus . Is his true color scheme exclusive to the bundle but everyone can get him for free in a different color ? If I buy the bundle , do I get Pegasus right away, Or do I need to do something to attain him still ?

@@da_figaro8723 if you get the bundle, he will appear in your mail along with the moonstones and over items. if you don't buy the bundle, the world offers different color Pegasus horses you can tame. This one on the bundle is inspired by the Hercules movie, so he is only exclusive to the bundle

@@Tiffany_aka_CeissaDesistei will need to ask my friend who plays there but regardless it will run smoother on that platform than the switch so definitely worth playing there!
