The thread is RANDOM but you can CHOOSE the 6 star character in that random thread you got. in the FIRST thread banner months ago, there were 3 threads and you had 33.3% chance to get one of the 3. For example, if I got thread 1 then that means I can choose anyone in thread 1.

@@nightend5448 That's not how the past one worked. In the past there were 3 threads. You pulled either 1, 2 or 3. Then when u got the thread, you could chose a unit that was in the thread. Same will happen now: You pull -> get thread 1 OR 2 -> select unit in thread 1 OR 2 depending what u got.

That golden thread banner looks promising since my account is still young and my roster needs a little more fleshing out, but I think I’ll pull on Argus banner for my Mercuria and future Anjo Nala and see where my savings are at by the end of 2.1 patch before deciding if I risk it. I do have 120 pulls saved right now so I might have enough if rng is on my side. 🙏🏼

To all my fellow f2p who are struggling when it comes to saving pulls, DO NOT pull for portrays (unless u really like the character or a simp)!! U will do just fine with 1 copy of any true limited characters. The portrays are overkill 😘 I’ve been living happily and been saving too many pulls per patch just by pulling for 1 copy 👯

Thaks for the video in general, but HUGE thanks to remind people to skip the dual banner. Trying my luck on one previous banner, i got very unlucky and ended up making me hate the game for a while. My plans: I truly wanted to pull for Tuesday but since i'm a 6 months player with already Jiu and Lucy, i can't risk to loose the chance to get anjo nala. She's also a game changer since she works well with almost everybody. I'll try my luck too for an old character, 40 pulls is ok. I want sotheby, cause i never got the chance to mix Jessica with her (i know i know it's not meta anymore, but using old characters sometimes don't hurt). And if it's the other half...i still have a p1 37 that reminds menthat "this place is the origin" waiting me to invest my dusts and sharpodonties. Good luck to everyone!

You know, the funny thing is I am actually leaning on pulling on the scam banner as well and here’s the reason why… Ofc, Vila is probably the most broken healer in the game…but here’s a problem I have…I don’t really have a very good plant DPS. Currently, my best plant DPS is Jessica, but of all my Afflatus elements, she is by far and away my weakest DPS. I skipped Marcus the first time because I was trying to save everything I could for Lucy and then I couldn’t get Kakania because I spent everything to try and get Lucy and didn’t have enough pulls saved up. I also wouldn’t be completely sad if I lost and got Marcus because I do have Tooth Fairy, Med Poc and Sotheby, so I’m not absolutely hurting for a healer. However, I’m also considering not pulling until the Argus banner either because Argus (although not meta breaking), is personally one of my favorite characters both in-game and aesthetically and ofc I’m pulling for Anjo Nala. Man, a lot of tough decisions to make…

​@@Toucanbird​ If you're worried about not having a good plant DPS, you honestly shouldn't be. Afflatus doesn't matter as much if you have broken characters like Lucy (who I assume you have), Windsong, or even Jiu who still holds up pretty well. You can always substitute with a stronger neutral afflatus DPS (So no afflatus advantage but overall stronger) if you find that your current DPS for that afflatus is lacking. Vila is super strong as a healer and support, particularly in mental teams, but considering you already have quite a lot of solid healers including Tooth Fairy who is currently the 2nd best healer, Sotheby who'll become an amazing sustain after her euphoria buff, and MedPoc who is also fairly decent, you really don't need another healer. On another note, Jessica will be getting a euphoria buff soon so I recommend waiting for that before deciding on anything. Also, if you like a character, just go ahead and pull for them. This game's difficulty is not high enough to warrant pulling for meta reasons only.

I currently have 69 pulls saved up. I plan on putting a 10 pull into Tuesday (for an over 50% chance to get Barbara), then get the Golden Thread. If thread 1, I grab 37 and commit to building her team (leaving me needing NewBabel and Flutterpage). I get Anjo, NewBabel selector rerun (assuming we get that banner), and Flutterpage before being likely zeroed out. If I get thread 2, I go Spathodea. Then I go Anjo, Lopera, and NewBabel selector rerun. This gets me 3 teams in time for Reveries: Lucy, Anjo, Mercuria, and TF for brute strength, Semmelweis, Eternity, Kakania, and Yenisei for a “suicide squad” and either J, 37, NewBabel, Flutterpage for riposte extra actions or J, Isolde, Spathodea, and Lopera for Burn (in which case NewBabel replaces Yenisei for “suicide squad”). I think either will put me in a reasonable place for Reveries. With average luck, either of these should be completely doable, with bad luck I may have to skip NewBabel, with insanely good luck (ie getting NewBabel in the random giveaway), I’ll be saved up for the future and won’t have to skip 2.5 like is currently my plan (I think it makes sense to go all in on preparing for Reveries right now).

There is some reason to pull one of them For Tuesday, if you dont have a strong poison team, her kit will not supported enough, but her reserve Moxie absolutly usefull for other team For Argus, i not reading her kit yet, but i think you can use her on all type of team Better saving for Anjo Nala if you F2P, and i hope you guys not ended up like me (180 pull on lucy as F2P but getting rate off 2 Times)

It's a bit different with Anjo. DPS always get quickly powercrept in Gacha games but she is a unique support Sub DPS that fits into any team. Of course it's your decision to make but I personally would skip any other unit before I skip her.

Just get one copy of Angel, I spent 350 pulls to get Lucy P5, and because of that I don't have some characters I wanted and honestly maybe it's not worth it lol, but if you only go up to 200, I think that's fine since you should be able to get 200 more counting the 2.1 and 2.2 updates

honestly f2p or not, its better to prioritize character > portrays. Old characters will get buffed eventually (as seen by newbabel and lilya) so chasing meta and worrying about powercreep isn't worth it. As f2p myself, i pull anyone i want + (some) meta. IMO the game isnt that hard, you can still clear all content even with (properly built) b tier characters. i still use jessica, sotheby, bkornblume, charlie, voyager, lilya, balloon party, sonetto, med poc, tennant, sweetheart and they're doing just fine.

Not sure yet because we’re yet to see Jessica’s 2.4 euphoria buff, but for immediate value on poison team, I say pull for Tuesday who greatly enables poison teams (by making poison crit) before saving for Willow. If you pull Tuesday early, then you can go for Sotheby or Jessica in threads banner. Shamane is pretty lackluster at p0 and his euphoria buff is also pretty mid, but if you’re going for husbando value (like me) you can get him if you want.

The jessica buff allows her to deal damage while applying petrify and counting that as posion while keeping the role of dps and it is so far pretty decent and getting Tuesday and Willow help her get the most poision stacks possible while dealing around and more when p0 50k damage from poison crit and curse so yes if you get jessica then get Tuesday and willow and limited units are overkill and not necessary as 1.0 characters can still clear content when highly invested(including the 4 stars)

It's called a scam banner for a reason, you can lose 50/50 and there's no guarantee to get the one character you want, you might get other 6* if you lose rate up and if you win rate up you might get vila over and over with no marcus. The pity also doesn't carry anywhere, unlike the normal rate up banners. But it's ultimately up to you. If you really want Marcus and don't mind to gamble + don't mind if you get other 6*/Vila instead, sure

Ms Newbabel is pretty much the best teammate for J once you get her Euphoria, and they can produce a massive shield. Since you plan to main J, it's probs a good idea to get her!

I'm at 110 pulls as f2p after skipping Mercuria and having some devious luck on Lucy, Kakania and Joe... but I'm terrified. I had 240 pulls after Spatho and Ezra leapt into my arms during 1.4 and I STILL missed Windsong and Marcus 🥲 I'll pull for Tuesday and throw a ten pull at Argus in case I do get lucky, but 4 characters I like being back to back after that is ROUGH. Either a fortune parasite comes and nibbles away my lifespan to give me some insane luck again or someone's getting abandoned (probably Willow, unless they flip Flutterpage over to first half... please, bluepoch? 🥺 for me?)

im gonna pull for Anjo nala but I also want Sotheby since I just pulled Tuesday. I have no pulls rn is it a good idea to pull on golden thread bc 1. Anjo nala is gonna be there for the entire patch and 2 Sotheby only needs 40 pulls?

Poison team is just Tuesday + Willow, their playstyle are too AP hungry for Sotheby to even contribute poison for the team. Like yes, you can do Sotheby's ult to detonate poisons and deal big damage while Tuesday array is up, but you're better off playing Willow & Tuesday cards and deal more damage instead of spending AP on Sotheby. Sotheby will just wind up as a healer in that team, which can be replaced with other healers. HOWEVER. Sotheby will get a Euphoria buff in 2.3 that will make her the best healer in the game, and we WILL need really good sustains/healers in the future with the new game mode Reveries. So yeah, pull Sotheby, but not because of poison team. Pull her because she'll be a really really good healer/sustain, they are scarce in this game

Personally I'd recommend saving your pulls for future units instead of pulling for the golden threads, you already have characters that will get good buffs in 2.3 (Lilya, Sotheby, Babel) and have the most worth/potential for future content out of all the other characters in that banner

You need Tuesday more than Jessica trust me. Even if u don't have Jessica u don't need her to do the poison team. Just get Willow in the future.

Also note that Tuesday comp is a poison comp, so u might have a hard time finding her synergies like Sotheby. So you might just want to save for other future unit or on the thread banner that's shown in the video

Yes, as SteamedBunX said, Tuesday enables poison crit and is vital to high-tier poison teams. Then you can try your luck for Sotheby in the threads banner, or save for Willow in 2.3 who brings even higher poison DPS. Also, Jessica is getting a buff in 2.4 so you have a lot to look forward to.

Tooth fairy is a gamr changer for almost any team. Having a good carry and a good healer will push your account to rise even without all the best supports.

I think the invitation from the water banner is only worth it if you are a new lower spender player. For those who are new F2P, having Anjo nala and Lopera so close, it's kind of a waste. The chances of getting the healer character you want are not enough considering the initial amount of pulls that a new player has. On the other hand, the poison team is very fun to play but, definitely, does not have the potential that the Anjo Nala team (Lopera, Mercuria) has.

The poison team is kind of ass for it needing so many units. If you also want them and Anjo you’re all but guaranteeing you won’t get Lopera. Which in my opinion is extremely strong. I recommend people skip the patch all together or go for Argus if they are light spenders.
