Thanks Nanelle for this info. Another thing happening now is that the new Salary threshold in the ISL for some Allied professionals in the NHS are not being met and such, some Trusts are not renewing the CoS. A lot of Biomedical Scientists are confused and don't know their stand at the moment. The new immigration rule says £29,000 or the minimum threshold of £36,000+, "which is higher". Many have progressed from initial £25,000+ to that £29,000 but HR's are not issuing CoS because of the clause "which is higher"(i.e. £36,000+ in this case). Are there ways of reaching out to MAC for possible removal of the clause? Thanks.

Premature celebration with no thorough deep it.First the seasonal visa has caveats 1)you can not bring dependents. 2)you can not work a second job not described in the certificate of sponsorship. 3)no access to public funds. 4)not allowed to take a permanent job. That same seasonal visa is being used by Eastern Europeans to do job in Uk eg from Hungary and Bulgaria who will have first preference being that they are European.

Secondly that migration advisory committee can not be trusted the same committee in 2018 discourage the UK government to allow low skill labour in to the UK.You left out that the Government is still going to consider alteration to the graduate visa so for the moment they won't touch it but will consider to do so in the future because some of far right division of the Tory want that visa scrapped.

Please try and do a little more research on some of this visa like the Seasonal worker visa before giving false hope to people because that visa is focus more on Europeans that usually do those jobs before Brexit However after Brexit due to shortage of workers in that field the government thought to introduce the seasonal visa so as to tackle the problem. Ask yourself if you ever seen an African or Asian on a seasonal worker visa.

Of all the African countries, Nigerians shouldn’t be immigrating en masse. Nigeria has good climate and soils, plenty of water, 1/10th of the world’s high-grade oil, the most educated black people on the globe, and access to the Atlantic Ocean.
