The question should be who is going to fight .Most working class brits have been totally let down and are now living surrounded by people who don't share their values or culture. Nothing works here and home born people can't even get somewhere to live.Theres nothing worth fighting for

The simple answer is NO. Underfunded,unprepared, reliant on others and strugglingto recruit. Rambling on about veterans giving there contact details to the MOD to be called upon in times of crisis when veterans in the UK are treated appallingly. Almost 500,000 veterans from iraq and Afghanistan a large majority battling mental health issues living in the UK who have been forgotten by a failing veteran welfare system. If this country cannot look after those brave men and women who fought in the so called "war on terror" how can it expect veterans to join the reserves or answer the call from a government that failed them. Those in charge have failed our military in so many ways for so very long that they are now at panic stations scrambling to plug the gaps..good luck with that.

agree with u on that and all of our ministers should be held to account for what they have done to our armed forces and the lack of failure to protect the nation. but im sure all of our ex personnel will do what is neccesssary to protect the nation in the event of war.

Can anyone prepare for nuclear Armageddon? After watching Annie Jacobsen I can say It's a resounding no. And I know that it is inevitable so Instead of fighting an unwinnable war... I'd rather enjoy my last day breathing the fresh air, blink in the sunlight and enjoy mother nature 🌍 And I'll phone my family if possible to say my final goodbye before we all die together

@@casusbellio Exactly, the idea Russia or anyone else will take all of Europe is ridiculous, Russia isn't going to risk Nuclear war for Latvia or Lithuania. They went into Ukraine, only because the US and EU wanted them to join NATO; knowing that was a red line for Russia. The fear mongering is more for gullible people to support their governments than the truth.

yeah she is doing outstanding work and long may she continue. the one thing is tho that alot of people in this country are actually blind too the fact of what is coming if ukraine loses this war. people need to realise we cant keep throwing money at our nhs and education if we cant protect these institutions. increase defence spending too 4% is what is needed and take it out of the hands of the mod and capita

well we have brand new aircraft carriers without any aircraft and who had to return to base because of propeller problems or couldn't leave on time for a nato exercise and nuclear submarines who cant fire their missiles the last 2 tests failed miserably we had a british minesweeper boat reversing into another stationary british minesweeper boat we have a airforce that has been turning away white british recruits instead trying to fill some diversity target so we dont have enough pilots or enough navy personnel so they are scrapping 2 frigates that have just had a very costly upgrade because we dont have the sailors to man them so no we are not prepared for war

The one policy going forward we should be doing. 1) never spend less than 3% peacetime or prewar time. Any goverment can never spend less than 3%. Obvious raise the budget when require, when threat to global conflict looks more increasing ( like now ) for example. The way we spend money should be looked at too. 2) convincing NATO european countries France Germany spain italy especially that they should always spend 3% for foreseeable future. 3 NATO countries should be minimum spending 3%

I think our military have been spending more on research than front line kit ,some of our technology of late in weapons is getting better look at the shadowstorm missiles dragonfire program plus our new ships are some of the best in the world and we have our top end sub deterrent, I still have faith that the men at the top of our military know what they are doing and it makes sense to me that they have been spending more on R&D in relative peacetime its just my opinion but I think they have used the budget to the best of their ability,theres no point have a large standing army with no one to fight ,our military are some of the best trainers in the world so I have no doubt in a big threat to the UK mainland scenario we would have no trouble getting men at all ,our problem is producing the kit fast enough for those men and also politicians not funding the army properly stop the foreign aid budget there an extra 10 billion per year staright away that's what I woupd do day one ,not one of these countries we give money to would help UK if the roles were reversed ,most of them can't stand us but gladly take our cash

Here's a radical idea. What about we don't get involved in other people's business. We withdraw our military aid from foreign conflict, and used it to defend our borders and the people who live in it. The very people being milked dry to pay for these wars in other countries. What about our leaders getting on a plane and to Russia and go and talk with President Putin and drag Zelensky along and maybe try talking and negotiating. Funny how Trump traveled and met with all these "enemies", North Korea, China and Russia and talked to them. And during those four years the world actually knew some resemblance of peace.

Concerning Russian the Kremlin knows a war with NATO would be a disaster! It’s struggling with offensive in Ukraine but it’s countries defence is a disaster, Russia has no answer to NATO long range weapons,it would be suicidal for Russia and now they know it.if I was Putin I would be in panic mode 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Also ignores our own nuclear deterrent. Can Russia attack the West? Nope. Could it have picked up states like Poland? Nope. Unlike the 30s the Poles have got themselves prepared. Hence Ukraine stopping putin in his tracks. Finland, Sweden taking a stronger step in joining NATO.
