For the next 20-50 years India will be preoccupied with China and building its own economy. I highly doubt India will look for a fight with even China, let alone Pakistan. Furthermore even though Pakistan sees India as its mortal enemy, I don’t think India sees Pakistan that way.

It's a controversial opinion but isn't the world more stable under USA as a superpower than under the regin of any other superpower???? I know it's the same argument for country being stable under a dictatorship But isn't it better than constant state of war everywhere in the world like the previous centuries??

If you listen to the clarification by the defence Minister. The launch was deliberate by a rogue personnel but not something that India was testing

To the best of my knowledge India has never launched a war against any other country. There is just no tolerance among the people for that sort of unilateral aggression. Unless there is a major terrorist attack or another military misadventure like Kargil, there is no reason for friends in Pakistan to be worried. We all want peace here.

@@sulemanyousaf4043 There are no wars launched by Modi that I can recall since his eight years or so as Prime Minister. Anyway, the culture of a people is not easily transformed by one or two people. As far as I know, India has not launched an attack on any neighbor in the 3000 or so years of known history.

@@sendakan666 that is because India has never existed as a single political entity in 3000 years. It was always a collection of different states whose borders were constantly changing. New kingdoms were emerging and dissolving all the time. However of we study the history of those kingdoms that were present in modern day India, then you'd see that all of them were fighting amongst each other for most part

@@sulemanyousaf4043 Assuming you are sincerely interested in the matter of histroy, I shall try to provide some relevant information here. This is going to be long. The Sanskrit texts of India are the most extensive classical textual tradition in the world. In these texts, India (called Bharata) had clear boundaries extending from the Himalayas in the North to the Sea in the South, from the Brahmaputra river in the East to the Sindhu in the West. Moving from texts to recorded history, the picture begins to get clear following the Perso-Greek conflicts of the 5th century BCE. The first Indian Empire that covered most of the country was the Maurya Empire that began in the 4th century BCE and lasted for nearly 500 years. The next major Indian Empire was that of the Guptas which was at its height around the 5th centure CE. To put this in context, apart from India and China, every other country from the classical period has since disappeared. Now, it is inarguable that neither the texts nor either of the two empires showed much interest in the region outside that of historic India. But, as you rightly said, there were constant struggles for power within India. A version of this exists even today in the political struggles within and between Indian states. This, however, is very different from foreign invasions where local cultures and religions are trampled upon and the local population looted of their wealth. Basically, India has always been an inward looking country because it is a primary source of culture and civilization. The outside world was not very interesting to Indians until the Perso-Greek conflicts led to marauding armies successfully breaking into the subcontinent for the first time.

@@sulemanyousaf4043 India had powerful central empires that covered from Afghanistan to Myanmar for over 800 years. The last such emperor was Harshavardhan whose empire collapsed around 600s. Only after that India became a collection of small kingdoms. The invasions from the west started 100 years after that.

@trinayanakaushik811
@trinayanakaushik811 2 жыл бұрын
I think it was a mistake. Initially even I thought India deliberately fired the missile but later I agreed of the mistake because the area has heavy traffic of civilian aircraft. India is not so crazy to fire a missile just for sake of testing Pak's defence knowing the threat to the civilian population of not just Pakistan but also Indian flights. Imagine the backlash India would have gotten if the missile hit a civilian aircraft. So definitely it was a mistake and India got lucky nothing much happened.
@AvinashPatil-1

@@ThePakistanExperience Missile could have hit Indian plane on Indian side as well. And, these days Aircraft crash investigation is a very sophisticated analysis. It’s very easy to determine missile trajectory, type of missile. And such investigation is done by IATA and many a times with active participation Boeing/Airbus. We have seen in 2014 Russian missile Buke hitting Malaysian airplane over Ukraine and how investigators nailed it down that it was a Russian missile. So, I don’t buy this hypothesis of India blaming Pakistan for the mistake it committed. Let’s be rational here.
