Found this podcast to be incredibly insightful, discussing the challenges posed by the shifting global power dynamics, particularly with regards to China and the US. The conversation highlighted the lack of understanding about China's psyche, which resonated with me. I recall reading Pearl S. Buck's 'The Good Earth' years ago, where she astutely observes that the world only scratches the surface of China, without grasping its core essence. Buck's unique perspective, gained from living in China for over two decades, offers a profound understanding of the country. Her book can help dispel some common misconceptions about China.

USA kisika subh chintak nhi hain. Yeh kaisi bachkani analysis hain? China k against USA ko India ki zarurat hain. Bas itna hi. USA would never want an 'developed' India.

That's the Point. Once Japan tried and the west Turned them down. Later Japan tried again with it's currency but the west slaughtered their plan and Yan become weaker. Today Japan is doomed militarily by the US and it's big economy is only devoted to the west, once they stop devoting, their economy will be crushed by sanctions after sanctions. I am happy that the middle east is at least trying to come out of the US Hegemony. The day Indian leaders start realising the power of their land, the US will declare it the Terrorist country at the same day.

In international relations, there are no friends. Interests count more. Russia, Israel, and China are also not our friends -- they have their own interests. It's just that the US gets called out more because its weight in international relations is the highest. We should think of leveraging the US to build our own strenth just like China did that to the US when Sino-Soviet relations worsened. - Pranay

@@puliyabaazi Exactly and that's quite the opposite of being a subh chintak. Also, the context of USA-China was so different in the 80s. USA subh chinta karke china me apna manufacturing nhi shift kiya tha. The corporates did it because domestic American labour had better bargaining power whereas in China at that time they found an educated workforce willing to do more for a fraction of cost. Chinese state also helped with all their repression to crush labour's bargaining power. This bus has now left the station for india.

USA india ko kabhi developed nahi hone dega.. unhone china ko help Kara, aur ab unko apne hegemony par khatra lag raha hai. Phir same USA india ko kyun help karega..abhi wo india ki remittance ko lekar insecure hai.. isiliye indian immigrants ko wapas bhejna chahte hain... india ko agar develop hona hai to highly innovative hona parega ..hamein research or development par spend karna parega..tabhi hum compete kar payenge

they didnt help China w/o getting back more from China than they gave . China economy grew but uS INC grew even more with their massive profits from exploiting the cheap , educated n productive chinese workforce n also the large pool of talented STEM graduates incl PHDs coming out of chinese universities . China has top world ranking universities like Peking ,Tsinghua , Zhejiang , the university of chinese academy of Science n Technology n so on . Tsinghua university has surpassed american MIT in technology That was why China was able to catch up fast with the west n produce their own global top brands such as DJI drones, BYD/ Xpeng EVs, CATL batteries n developed the best HSR n solar/wind clean energy technologies products in the world that the west cant compete in quality n price n want to sanction or tariff them. The opening n rapid growth of chinese market for uS companies saved uS economy from recession n the overcapacity of chinese manufacturing has kept uS as well as global inflation low for the past several decades.

@@nanyanguo1 it's foolish to argue in this manner..we have witnessed chinas growth story from very beginning..It wouldn't have happened without western world putting all apples in one basket.. US even signed FTA with china..the same USA is not ready to sign FTA with india..They r not ready to do technology transfer..so our industry is only service based..I think with the economy growing at the rate of 10% or more for a decade can do wonders to every sector including education.we r on the similar path..by the way..but our growth story will be different from that of chinas..it will be as a result of sheer competition and excellence.. otherwise we will remain same unchanged as a country for yrs to come
