I think for someone to be the best minecraft player, they would have to start in technical minecraft because it is objectively the hardest, most complicated and takes the longest to learn compared to every other aspect of minecraft which can be learned(not mastered) in a month

The game is also constantly evolving with different gamemodes, mechanics, and concepts. I dont think it would be possible to even maintain the status of the best player. Could there be a best player? Yes, but for how long?

as a 5 years playing minecraft, I experience a lot of things in general minecraft community but to be the best you need a pure skills, luck and game sense like minemanner said but you don't need skills and luck to be the just only game sense and having a great mind thinking but sometimes skills is an option even me I don't get even close to be a the best minecraft player but I know how to speed bridge all type of bridging I can, building just not for house also in redstone you need to be organized clean placements, decent on pvp in 1.8 to 1.9, bedrock versions, also parkour and escape rooms, not including the surviving a hardcore for years because it's just about survival you can fake out survival worlds but having a great skills to this it takes months, years to learn "but for me the best player if there's one it's fruitberries"

Jooonah, I have an answer, if you take every ranked gamemode that have accurate elo or time systems and little to no hackers/boosters. Take the rank of every player that appear on these leaderboards and then make a weighted average based on gamemode popularity (per example, bedwars or rsg speedrunning would have a higher coefficient than bridging lbs as it is more popular). Then whoever has the lowest score would be the best minecraft player. That would leave only skill, because elo and time leaderboards are the most accurate thing we have to quantify skill. And the average being weighted based on popularity of the ranked gamemode would make it so there's no really niche gamemodes that affect the score for no reason. Because the more popular/competitive a gamemode, the more relevant it is to determine skill. Sadly for builders, building skill is subjective unless youre talking about speedbuilding so it wouldn't fit into this system, same for redstone. But I guess you could technically make a ranked gamemode out of build battle but still.

I say that etho and minemanner are the best because in the 3 main minecraft categories (Building, Technical and PVP) minemanner is a tear 1 pvper and great builder and etho is insane at redstone and building and I don't think any other players are that good at multiple things

The one thing about there being a best minecraft player, is that there will never be a permanent one. As people who are late teens and early 20s or so grow out of the game to get jobs (hypothetically, that is, people might play this game forever), Younger teens and even younger who are already playing will in a way take those spots. So there won't be a permanent best player.

I consider myself top 100 at least in India, in terms of knowledge about everything Minecraft has got, like pvp, speedrunning, building, mechanics, parkour. I am not saying I am above average in all of these, but there are soo less people who even have the knowledge, and ofc I am talking only about my country, because I know how gamers are here. In my opinion, everyone can be decent at the game with enough practice, but very few ppl have the potential of becoming the best. To become the best in every single mc category, u need to learn and think fast, you need to be not only very smart (for redstone) but also be able to play/click fast, cuz I dont think many ppl even have the fingers to butterfly click, a clicking method useful in not only pvp, but also in speedrunning and crystal pvp. Also, for building, to be the best, you most likely need be able to draw very well and have at least some imagination, because without imagination, u wont be able to build anything original. As someone who has watched the majority of the Minecraft KZbin videos out there and is rl good in most Minecraft categories, I know for the average person to become the best at pvp, parkour and speedrunning, it would take them around a decade, not to mention building and redstone. Ive been playing this game for over a year now, and I am probably better than the average pvper, speedrunner, builder and redstoner at their own gamemode. Ofcourse the 4k hours of KZbin helped, but if I wasnt smart enough, I wouldn't be able to become from a bad pvper to a winstreak grinder in around 3 months (on minemen). I dont know if we are ever gonna see the perfect minecraft player, but theres always the best out there, we just haven't found him yet. In my opinion: Best speedrunner: feinberg and zylenox/silverrr Best 1.8 pvper: prob a sweat no-one knows about Best 1.19 pvper: was mentioned in the vid Best bedrock pvper: prob a sweat (btw im rl good at bedrock) Best builder: that shovel guy seemed good, also trixiblox (if spelled correctly) Best redstoner: purple guy has made a vid on it (I dont remember his exact name) Hopefully I didnt forget anyone, anyways thats it.

Ok so, what if we just take every gamemode, (uhc, boxing,crystal……just everythink!) took the tier 1 player out of every mode, let them fight in all there modes, and then (even if that spacific person did not win all duels) calculate the one that overall showed the highest skill. Like.. What if someone is the best axe player and does well in that, and then (even if he dosent win) also overall showes a lot of skill in other thinks. Lets imagine someone being tier 1 in boxing, so he gets 10/10 in that. Then he gets 3/10 in uhc, but 7-8/10 in 5 other gamemodes. Then calulate everythink together, and boom. Best minecraft player. LMFAO

i think best player is guy who plays bedwars and skywars good, lets say skywars, has movement parkour skills, and rod pvp with even clutching and pots. bedwars gives good game sence, block placement, and building. so the guys who is good at both is the best!!!! my opinion

there are players like minemanner who are overall good at everything but arent nearly as good as the "best" players. for example, he would get rocked by players like ptb dante or nakoso, but you cant say hes not in the top 5% or so. I think that each gamemode should be treated separately, because some parts of minecraft are just so different from others, even if they are considered to be in the same category.(for example most bedwars players arent very good at rod pvp and vice versa, even tho both are considered 1.8 pvp) here is my list of best players in some categories because i want an opinion bedwars: probably dewier overall boxing: ptb dante but he quit so maybe luzis or vyko bridging: geklow speedrunning: overall probably feinberg but in terms of 1.16 rsg which is the most popular category then zylenox or doogile 1.8: overall probably x_sus like minemanner said but obviously hes not #1 in every category parkour: idk but i remember watching this guy named ub3r like 3 years ago i doubt he was the best but he was pretty damn insane overall the best minecraft player is probably some random person who is amazing at both redstone and building, since i wouldn't say they are as competitive or as toxic as the pvp scene and it's probably easier to get into redstone/building and become a very good player in terms of known players then obviously minemanner because hes not only good at pvp but also hes a great builder(obviously not the best in either but definitely in the top 1-5% in both categories)

Im gonna correct you before you get trashtalked. For bedwars there is no leaderboard, but I dewier is good at ranked bedwars, the thing is he has not proven himself in bedwars speedrunning. For boxing, simply look at the leaderboards on minemen, I know that the legitimacy of these player is arguable but you can't be naming kown player as the best if they don't even make the top 50 with their current elo. Bridging I agree. Speedrunning, I agree, but there's actually a ranked speedrunning that just came out, so check that out for new insane players. Parkour is where you made the mistake, Ub3r was a depressive, mentally unstable, pedophile, parkourist. He was really known in the community and he fell into a lot of controversies, everyone hated him, and he started hating himself, he was never really considered to be "best at parkour", but he contributed a lot to the community. About 1 month ago, he commited sui**** on livestream. Their exist mainly two types of parkour, rankups and onejumps. The best for rankups are greypk and supermoar and the best for onejump is 1bmm but shoutout to lapislala, Miles rex and morpheye because they are insane aswell. Oh and I forgot 1.8, it's a whole version so it's really hard to say, but I think boba is the best 1.8 player, he is premium for ranked bedwars, and number 4 in global mmc, if not him, then obviously jostpvp.

in my opinion the two best players are itzrealme and minemanner. Itzrealme is at least tier 2 in every 1.9+ gamemode which even achieving that level in any gamemode is near impossible. minemanner is good in every 1.8 gamemode but only tier 2 in one gamemode in 1.9+ but he also knows redstone and building.

In my "very professional opinion" Fruitberries is probably one of the best players out there he's good at 1.8 and 1.19 pvp. But he's also fairly decent at speed running. And his movement is INSANE. The only thing he doesn't really do well at is building. (I think don't quote me on that) He's also won MCC. So in my opinion (no one has to agree with me) Fruit is probably the best overall player currently.

I would argue that minemanner is better mechanically, in terms of pvp in both versions, than fruit, and he knows building. But fruit's got better gamesense and natural movement, as minemanner's a duels player so he's used to flat terrain and equally geared fights. (Also minemanner can't bucket clutch for the life of him. Literally.)

I know this isn't a serious video but hear me out. Minemanner is the best minecraft player. I may be wrong, but let me explain my thinking. If you are annoyed by that statement, let me ask you this: can you think of someone who is as good as him at both 1.8 and 1.9? You can? Well who are they? Are they actually better? Let's say they are. Can they build? Are they any good at parkour? I think that minemanner is at the very least good at every aspect of minecraft apart from speedrunning. You may want to be different and say qvarious or x_sus, but have you actually put any thought into it? Those players are just the best at 1.8 PVP all-round. Even though most people with "knowledge" in the community say that it obviously isn't him, have they offered any alternatives? For me the only other contender is Kysiek1234- he's really good at 1.8, he can speedrun well, and his movement is very good. However he is lacking in building and 1.9 pvp (at least to my knowledge). Let me know if I'm an idiot, but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

9:13 isn't "getting lucky on purpose" just skill with extra steps? Anyhow, the best Minecraft player i'd say is the one player that would have the best AVERAGE performance between every game mode. In every game with any complexity at all you can pick an extremely specific skill and become the #1 in the world at it even in very little time (doing some extremely niche trick in football for example, i don't know) but everyone would agree that Messi is still better than you at football even though at that one skill you're better. A player being #1 in everything is the best THEORETICAL player, but you don't have to be the best theoretical player to be the best player. The difficulty of determining the #1 player is deciding how to test every mode. Which modes to test, which gategories to test (redstone? movement? mechanics? i can think of tens more) and how to make them all have the same weight.
