People have said all they can draw is stick figures. This is the best way to get started! Draw the stick figure and flesh it out. Take as much time as you need and you will learn something. You just might be a artist!

Thank you for the tips. I teach math and physics, and I can draw cliffs, bridges, towers, airplanes, boats, cars, etc; but when it comes to drawing a person in these scenarios, I struggle so much, and it takes too long in relation to the rest. This is really helpful. Thank you. By the way, how would you draw a sorrowful/sad stick-figure kneeling on the ground, with their arms on their face, or facing up to the sky?
