It can be restored soon. Since parts such as engines, landing gears, nose door, and the cockpit on the AN225 is similiar to an AN124 aircraft. Happy to see that aircraft fly again, I can't wait😊😊😍😍

Have you ever heard of an outfit called Buffalo Air? It is owned by a guy named Joe McBryan. His son has a youtube channel. It seems to be in his own name. Mikey McBryan. Mikey created a youtube sensation called Plane Savers. It started with a DC-3 that participated in D-day. It had no engines, no tail, no avionics. In a matter of weeks in the cold end of spring. A long way from his base of operations. They got that plane flying. People from all over the world sent money and things to auction. People offered help. They scrounged parts. It was a really exciting event. He has had a couple of projects since but they haven't generated as much world wide enthusiasm. If anyone on earth could spearhead this project, it would be him. I don't speak for him, but I think this could be right up his alley.

I don’t think that there is a chance to restore that exact plane, but they can use parts of the new one and of the destroyed one to biuld a new an225, like mixture between both an225. Sad, I could never see it flying with my own eyes, just in videos or pictures. Stay safe 🇺🇦💪🏻🇺🇦💪🏻🇺🇦💪🏻🇺🇦💪🏻🇺🇦

Thank you so much for this actually hopeful video hey. Yes... it's absolutely SO painful to see darling Mriya and the others in this condition... these images will always be difficult to see and of course it still very much devastates me - I've always loved Mriya very much and followed her as much as I could but OMG, after all the honest good Dmytro has done for a very long time, when I saw that beautiful man begin to survey and absorb the situation personally AND when I understood the nuances and layers of how this all will have uniquely, very deeply injured and crushed him, it completely finished me off. 💔I hope upon hope that he of all people on this earth, gets an appropriate level of custody of any resultant new/reborn Mriya. This war by pootin is more evil than pure evil. I stand fully with Ukraine. 💙💛

Consider what if you hung six GE90's on the new upgraded AN-225 with new avionics, design the maybe longer wings with folding outer wings like the new Boeing 777X ....... that would be a real horse (as if it wasn't before) and could lift a lot more weight too !

Hi Denys! Thank you making us hope - in so many ways! 👍 Like I said before: Ruzzia wanted to destroy Ukraine's dream but now it's the Moskwa, which is down.. Of course I saw Dmytro's video but I just realized now that the aft part of AN-28 is kind of similar to AN-225..I always thought Мрія was just built this way because of the Buran shuttle.. 😮

Either way, the only thing they can do on the matter now is start considering the Mriya’s replacement when the time is right. I say they should call it the Vidrodzhennya, which translates from Ukrainian as rebirth or regeneration.

Question: Wouldn't the restored 225 be categorized as experimental until it gets through a long and difficult certification process? From a business standpoint, the capital costs to begin using her productively might be far too great as a comparison to the operational costs while she was intact. I would absolutely love to see her, or an iteration of her, fly again. But she was unique and can high costs of recreation of that uniqueness be justifiable? And, as a symbol of Ukrainian self-determination and resolve, wouldn't a new Mriya be a tempting target again for Russia if she wasn't based in Leipzig or somewhere safe?

IMO, the AN-225 Mryia wing is an AN-124 Ruslan extended wing
@matthewq4b
@matthewq4b 2 жыл бұрын
refitting the wing for 2 engines would be straight forward the outer engine/s would be omitted, the pylon mounting may need reinforcing, or possibly not, given how over engineered the 225 was. This sort of thing is not uncommon and is routinely done for new engine testing/certification. Fitting the GE9X engines would make the 225 more profitable and commercially viable.

Even though they have the spare parts for the second AN-225, I don’t think they will build a new AN-225, as it is not fuel efficient for the foreseeable future. And of course like you mentioned it will cost a lot of money to build a new AN-225. Maybe? Don’t speak too soon though? 🤷‍♂️👨🏻‍✈️✈️🛫✊🇺🇦

Dear Denys, you have already built your own motorcycle... How about building your own aeroplane... or submersible. 🙄The news linked below explains what happens when a vehicle is built from unsuitable materials and general safety protocols are ignored😳😱: James Cameron says he already suspected on Sunday (June 18th, 2023) that the Titan's pressure chamber built from composite material had imploded! The director of the Titanic movie, the Canadian James Cameron says that he already guessed on Monday (June 19th, 2023) that the Titan submersible had collapsed and all 5 people on board had died. Cameron says that already on Sunday he suspected that this had happened, after hearing that the text message connection between the mother ship and the Titan submersible had been lost, and that the tracking of Titan was no longer successful. When Titan also failed to rise to the surface of the ocean, and Cameron heard from what he described as reliable sources that a strong sound of implosion had been heard (with hydrophones) in Titan's diving area on Sunday, Cameron was sure of the unfortunate event. In his inner circle, which is fond of deep-sea diving, he suggested his friends and acquaintances to raise a commemorative glass to those who died in the destruction of Titan. The last mentioned already happened on Monday (June 19th, 2023) in the afternoon. Cameron says that he is saddened by the futile rescue operations carried out over the next 4 days and by the unrequited hope they have awakened in the families. Cameron says that he himself built a submarine with his engineer friend, with which he has made many successful deep-sea research trips. However, the submarine built by Cameron and his friends over 7 years is, like the Titan, the only one of its kind and has not gone through standardized safety protocols. Because of this, Cameron says that he has never even dreamed that their submarine would take on the responsibility of transporting outsiders to the wreck of the Titanic, for example. In Cameron's opinion, as well as many material experts, a composite material, made of titanium and carbon fiber, which cannot withstand external pressure sufficiently is not suitable for the hulls of submarines or submersibles. The composite material in question is suitable for building spaceships because it withstands the internal pressure of the ship's chamber well. Since the Titan is known to have tried to shed excess weight after descending near the sea floor (a couple of hundred meters from it, Cameron believes that its titanium-carbon fiber shell started to delaminate at that point, quite audible. (By this time, according to Cameron's estimation, the crew of Titan has also tried to initiate a premature return to the ocean surface.) In other words, the layers of the pressure chamber's composite shell, tired from previous dives, began to separate menacingly from each other. Soon the entire Titan submersible imploded, and the underwater hydrophones registered a huge bang. Cameron does not attach much importance to the fact that sensors measuring delamination were installed in the Titan's shell: After all, Titan, owned by the Sea Gaten company, tried to go into the bottom of the sea, to a depth of 3.8 km and a pressure of 380 atm or 41 kPa, even though the shell of the pressure chamber was strained by many former dives and in general a mixture of titanium and carbon fiber that is poorly resistant to external pressure. (Some expert on a foreign news channel even compared Titan's shell to a balloon, which is alternately filled and deflated until its fragile structure finally suddenly fails.) An expert specialized in ocean technology and robotics states that the carbon fiber structure is fragile and breaks into pieces under too much external pressure; such a fracture may have started from a rupture in Titan's pressure chamber. Carbon fiber therefore does not ductile or disform like the steel of the Titanic wreck. Since the Titan, which operated in international waters and beyond the reach of many country-specific laws, was not certified to be used for diving deep, right down to the seabed (3,8 km, 380 atm), the participants in the dives had to sign an agreement in which they assured that they were aware of the risks (and the direct danger of death) associated with deep-sea on the Titan! kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4msqpyka52pe6c kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2rWq4WYg5aJbtE metro.co.uk/2023/06/22/how-many-times-has-the-titan-gone-to-the-titanic-and-how-deep-is-the-wreck-18994926/

The main issue is the destruction of the critical flight systems due to some rashist putting a rocket into the nose. If it hadn't been for that, the original couldve been saved . My guess is that another manufacturer such as airbus or Boeing would need to assist with the second fuselage. Most of these parts are unique to that era and aren't made anymore. That's why the new management ought to reach out and get together with Boeing or airbus.
