I have been following this story for a long time, and I have been 3 times myself to Lake Toplitzsee. As a dive and a shipwreck hunter, I find this story fascinating. There are couple of new information and interviews in this documentary which I enjoyed hearing. Gold or not in the Lake. There is a lot of history and mystery regarding Toplitz,, and on top of that, the area, mountains, and the lake itself are amazingly beautiful. Totally love it. Thanks for publishing this documentary, I really enjoyed it.

I have first hand knowledge of this gold, and I knew the person who was part of the organization who found it in the 1970's, and attempted, (unsuccessfully), to 'liberate' it.

i still remember the stories in the media. they found fake Brit banknotes. More divers searched extensively and found nothing more. But the stories never died. So, here is just a remake and rehash of old stories. Yes, and I do not say that lightly. I KNOW there is, at least I know there was in the late 1970's. I know the man who's team found it, and I know he went to jail for trying to liberate it, because he was not officially supposed to be working for the British, the Germans, The Swiss, or the Americans, but he found it first. The stoty gets muddy after his arrest, and I lost touch with him, and wasn't anxious to stay in touch after his arrest............of course.....and now, I imagine, it has disappeared. I'm not even going to watch this documentary because I am sure it is not telling the truth. It could not.
