Total Bullshit!! You want people to believe and follow and then hope it makes sense later? Khadija was your Prophet's first wife, she inherited from her father and was a very rich and successful business woman. She had a name, not a number. So were many other names mentioned in that time. All of the other sins that have been forbidden were common then too. The best your Allah could come up with was a plan in that 1400 years later Western Secular Countries would force Muslims to give up slavery? It is ok to have sex with a slave but two consenting adults who have sex should be flogged 100 times or even killed? This makes sense to whom? Islam has never banished slavery and it is Halal to this day. As are concubines and sex slaves taken in war. Not all sex slaves were concubines. Islam never meant to abolish slavery. The children of two slaves is born a slave. Stop with this garbage and try to catch up with humanity.

the UN and "human rights " are all based on subjective morality and they can not prove their stand at all. therefore all their intervenes weather it's " humane" or not can't be proven morally and they can't prove that's terrorism is good or bad. The UN is highly western based and most of world countries from Asia to Africa to eastern Europe to south America refuse LGBTQ refuse feminism refuses the banking system refuses the modern slavery ( salve wage ) refuses western subjective vales ,but yet they push it on all of us. using utilitarianism then the west shouldn't be pushing their values on the majority and the majority can take down the west. that's why in political science there's a famous quote " the liberal global order is neither liberal nor global " ( meaning only western based and other countries don't anticipate on it or they will be sanctioned and fought by the west ). also, this is by definition slavery because they tell us what to do and if we refuse, they punish us , starve us or kill us and we have to follow them when they are the minority. so utilitarianism doesn't work and they are enslaving us. Note: western elites not the people as majority of Europeans from western Europe and eastern Europe refuse and reject liberal values and all that came with it. what am trying to say is this system is belt on hypocrisy and when Objective moral people start to realize than they will take action and subjectisim will have no answer when the objective moral people start action and they can't say it's " good or bad ". even if objective moral people did wrong the subjective people can't prove it's wrong since it's all subjective. even so atheist can't prove what's good or bad in all topics other than morality. for example, an atheist says to someone you are Bac-kward and that someone says is being Back- ward good or bad ? here they can't really answer. they can't prove being whatever is good or bad. and so on and so on. what am literally saying now will change the world perception and the moral people will take action. it's inevitable. one thing else if they don't have the concept of good or bad of any subject other than morality that means it has no value ( worthless ). for example, asking an atheist is science good or bad ? if he/she did reply with good and bad they can't prove it therefore, it's subjective and has no value at all since they don't have the concept of Good and bad. therefore, all their " facts" ( which are hypothesis not facts ) are worthless if it has no value ( good and bad ). they can't detect which is fact and not if they don't hold on any value and even if they did they can't prove it since it's subjective. We live in a world that ran by subjective people who can't prove their value or the value of anything and can't prove even their subjectivsim and it's value! Yet they have the audacity to tell us what's good or bad and what's valuable and not and what's true and not. also brain is nothing but an organ according to their world view which means they cannot base anything on it and it's all chemical reactions which delude itself on having meaning when there's non which means all their claims as their existence worthless meaningless and untrue. which means they argue for nothing.....

@@ororomar Slavery in the 7th century was a major part of the socioeconomic system and so outright abolishing it would have been chaotic, hence why Islam instead gradually phased out slavery: *Before embarking on the typological analysis it is also important to note at the outside that all of the important Quranic rules on slavery are emancipatory. None of the Quran provisions actively further, promote, or counsel the continuation of the pre-Islamic institutions of slavery. Rather, as I and others have argued elsewhere, the message of the Quran appears to be one that exhorts humankind to work toward the attainment of a slavery-free society.* *- Bernard K. Freamon. Possessed by the Right Hand: The Problem of Slavery in Islamic Law and Muslim Cultures. Brill. pp. 122-123* *The Quran clearly recognizes that slavery is a source of inequity in society becaise it frequently recommends freeing slaves, along with feeding and clothing the poor as part of living a moral life (90:12-19)...the Quran does not abolish the institution of slavery...slavery was an integral part of the economic system at the time the Quran was revealed; abolition of slavery would have requires an overhaul of the entire socioeconomic system. Therefore, instead of abolishing slavery outright, virtually all interpreters agree that the Quran established an ideal toward which society should: a society in which no one person would be enslaved to another.* *Tamara Sonn (6 October 2015). Islam: History, Religion, and Politics. p. 18* Yes Prophet Muhammad had slaves but he freed all of them: *When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) died, he did not leave any Dirham or Dinar (i.e. money), a slave or a slave woman or anything else except his white mule, his arms and a piece of land which he had given in charity . [Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith **#2739**]* Prophet Muhammad even married some of the slaves he freed such as Safiyyah and Juwairiyah. @@amaryllis1121 Seriously? Do you actually have anything to back up your Islamophobic narrative?? Why don't you read about Christian Slavery, maybe that's what you're referring to when you say "violently" - the bible even talks about how if your slave dies after a beating by the rod, you're not held accountable for it if it's a few days after the beating. Islam made it impermissible to cause any harm to a slave, hurting them physically was grounds for them to be freed. Please, there is no comparison between what Islam established and set up over 1400 years ago to any other nation/people. In Islam, it's not permissible to enslave a free man (which is exactly what the West did to the Africans not too long ago...and they African Americans to this day have to deal with discrimination in the USA). The only people who "could" be enslaved were prisoners of war. Anyways, to list all the rights and protections given to slaves, and all the ways they could be freed (and the Qur'ans strong advocation to "FREE slaves," is proof enough that Islam set up a slow abolishment system. Anyways, this is an entire topic of its own.

The Quran is PROVEN to be from God, that means everyhting in it is true. The Quran says it is perfect, so it IS. Once something is proven, nothing can disprove it. The Quran is proven to be from God, nothing can disprove that. The Proof that God exists which further proves that the Quran is from God: logic is an evidence, right? Logic says that nothing begins except that it has something/someone that made it begin. We began, so why do you say that nothing caused us to exist? He will reply, why do you say that God is the One Who made us begin? Why not us? Why not the universe? I reply with; according to logic; you cant create yourself. Because that means you have to be already alive to give your dead self life. Which is illogical. Why didnt the universe create us..... according to logic; the one who doesn't posses something, cant give it. The one who doesnt have knowledge; cant give it. The one who does not have life; cannot give it. The universe has no life, so how can it give life? The One Who created us is Alive Himself. He created every single human being, so He knows everything about humankind. From that point we prove that the Quran is from God, because it contains accurate description of the human embryo, when at the time of the Quranic revelation, this was unknown. So the Quran talked about something that humans didnt have access to, which proves that it is not from humans. Now someone might say, maybe satan knows everything about the human embryo then he taught it to Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and that is how human embryo is mentioned in the Quran. I respond with; prove that satan exists. He will say; the Quran says that satan exists. I repond with; well the Quran also says that satan isn't the one who wrote it. You cant take one part of the Quran then ignore the other. From the argument with the atheist, I only proved, using logic, two attributes of Allah; Life and Knowledge (of humankind). Which further proved that the Quran is from God, and the Quran tells us more about God's attributes like Absolute knowledge, absolute control, absolute wisdom, Generosity, Majesty, Great Mercy, Hearing everything and seeing everything, etc. And the Quran proves that obeying the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is part of the religion; which further proves that the authentic hadiths (the words of the Messenger) are also a revelation from God. With this message that takes less than 3 minutes to read it, I disproved atheists, theists who are non-Muslims and "quranists (those who dont follow the authentic hadiths)". So I dont understand how can anyone have doubts after this.

@@einsteinone5380 How does that refute my point? The Quran contains scientific facts that humans couldnt access to. If someone says, how can we know whether these facts were always in the Quran or if they were added by Muslims when these facts were discovered so the Quran will look like it is from God? The answer is, the Quran has manuscripts dating to the centuries when these facts were still not discovered by scientists. So we already established that the Quran is from God, therefore everything in it is true. The Quran says it will be preserved, so it will be preserved. So all the things you just said are false.

U don't know how much you have helped me...yesterday I came across this matter and started crying so badly because I could feel i was drifting away from islam...no matter what I thought i could not process the information about concubines and slaves ...ofc I am still a teenager so my understanding is not that good... but now it makes sense...alcohol was banned slowly and gradually...similarly islam created a pathway that would ultimately lead to abolishing slavery... Especially the point where u said that if slaves were just freed in a single day they would not know how to run their lives... so the first step that islam took was to tell the believer to treat their slaves right...and then showed different paths through which we can free the slaves...I mean we muslim have zakat( charity) as one of the 5 pillars of islam.....giving certain proportion of your money every year in charity is obligatory....and Allah has told to spend this charity money on 8 different causes...and one of them is freeing slaves ...also enslaving free people is prohibited too...indeed islam is a practical religion and sometimes our human intelligence can not comprehend certain commands but when u go in depth and research about it then it starts to make sense

@untamedsoul876 Islam encourages the freeing of slaves and their joining in marriage as a means to improve their status in society. Concubinage was not introduced by Islam, as it had existed before in the past. But the Prophet instituted many practices that were intended to gradually phase out slavery and concubinage from society, including legal protections for concubines from rape, sex crimes, and abusive men.... AlsoConcubinage (al-sirr) was a legal relationship that was analogous to a marriage (al-nikah) between a free man and his female slave. The word for ‘concubinage’ was itself linguistically related to ‘marriage’ in classical Arabic: كَمَا قَالُوا سُرِّيَّةٌ والأَصل مِنَ السِّر وَهُوَ النِّكَاحُ As they say ‘a concubine,’ the origin is from the word ‘concubinage,’ which is marriage. Source: Lisān al-‘Arab 4/304 ... This is unlike the concubinage of some societies that treated such women as property without rights. Rather, Islam made the concubines similar, but not equivalent, to wives, with the right to maintenance, good treatment, and protection from abuse. It also provided multiple avenues,multiple easy ways for a concubine to earn her freedom and raise her social status. E.g if she became pregnant she was to be freed...also it was encouraged to marry the slaves among themselves....also That woman's consent was extremely important.....without her permission no one could touch her, if she wanted to get married then she was to be married.. also if she didn't come to the battle field and fought with the Muslims she could not be held as a concubine It must be emphasized that slavery and concubinage existed long before Islam. According to the Bible, Solomon had seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines (1 Kings 11:3). At the dawn of Islam, the institution could not have been abruptly ended due to it being deeply embedded in the pre-modern Arabian social and economic systems, much like how modern societies cannot immediately outlaw the use of fossil fuels despite our knowledge that they are harming the ecosystem. Slavery could only be phased out of society over time, just as fossil fuels must be gradually phased out of the modern economy. To this end, the Prophet (ṣ) instituted important paradigm shifts that would eventually lead to the institution of slavery’s natural abolition... Lastly and most importantly The Quran usually refers to slaves /concubines ‘those whom your right hands possess,’ instead of other Arabic words in use at the time such as ‘abd or ‘abid or raqiq. This type of phrasing indicated that the master ‘owned’ his slaves (or perhaps more accurately, he was their ‘custodian’), but also that Allah was holding the master responsible for their care and good treatment. Islam humanized slaves and gave them rights, instead of viewing them as merely sub-human races, property, or ‘commodities.’ Slaves were ‘brothers’ and ‘sisters’ in the family of faith, partners entitled to equality with their masters in terms of food and clothing; they were not to be harmed in any way. Hope it answer's your question ☺️

Polygamy is not a practice limited to the religion of Islam; rather, it is something well-known in the history of the People of the Book, the Jews and the Christians, as well. It is only in the later times that their religious men frowned upon it or forbade it outright. However, when one looks into the early history of the religions, they will find that it was at least an acceptable practice, if not encouraged.

I get my limits from a rational consideration of the consequences of my actions, that's how I determine what's moral. I get it from a foundation that says my actions have an effect on those people around me, and theirs have an effect on me, and if we're going to live cooperatively and share space, we have to recognize that impact. And my freedom to swing my arm ends ends at their nose, and that I have no right to impose my will over somebody else's will in that type of scenario. That's where I get them from. I get them from an understanding of reality, not an assertion of authority. If you only stop yourself from doing terrible things because of religion then you are just a wolf in sheep’s clothing. The quran doesn't fundamentally preach marrying one wife and that marrying four is only under special conditions. The way you join verses 3 and 129 of surah Nisa to make your point is not right. You make it sound like God is saying, "you can marry up to 4 but marry one if you can't do justice and hey you can't do justice so..." Reading the complete verse 129 of surah Nisa destroys this notion. Here is the full verse "And you will never be able to be equal [in feeling] between wives, even if you should strive [to do so]. So do not incline completely [toward one] and leave another hanging. And if you amend [your affairs] and fear Allah - then indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful."
@DM-hq9gs2 жыл бұрын
I think you may have misinterpret or misunderstood the verse. Cause the main reason why Quran said to marry only 1 if you can't do Justice between the 4 wives, meaning you have to be fair with all 4 woman. And it is important that he joined the verses of 3 to 129 in order for the verse to not be taken out of context which happens a lot for people who have difficulties understanding the Arabic language. See the Arabic language is a bit complexed with one word having different meanings depending how its written & said. If you read the Quran or arabic words you'll notice some lines above or below a letter these have different meaning depending how you pronounced it. A common example, without using the complexed words, is this word "حَيْثُ" That word depending on the context can mean where, when, which, in which, at which, , whom, wherever, whereas, since and because. Even a simple word like "أن" can have be used in a sentence depending context if the lines and circles is used as seen from the previous letter. That's how the arabic language & I'm still trying to learn Arabic and English is not so different depending on the context like if I say "order" it can be I'm asking for food or I want everyone to behave. Here try out this app gtaf.org/apps/quran It has various translation of your choosing you can tap on each letter it can show if it's a verb or noun for arabic language perspective on top of that you interpret a verse more by tapping on the verse and a education hat icon shows and it gives a explanation of the verse with hadith to help. I hope it helps cause it is a time saver cause in islam when you have questions it's best to seek a person of knowledge to help give a better understanding of the verse & I think the app does a good job for it. But it even with the app it is still best to ask a person of knowledge. Hope it helps.
