My theory: Going with the Idea that it's not just York but also Atlas. what if Atlas has a secondary manipulative objective and is using Desire as a way of achieving her goal. if it's 2 Vegapunks then we gotta look at each one and make sense of reasoning. for Desire/Greed it makes perfect sense. to become one of the strongest privaledge people in the world to be even more lazy. it's perfect. but also requires alot of work and makes sense for York to have an accomplice. York could still be in her Bathroom taken care of as in dead. or just sleeping until her next cycle. or she actually did get Petrified. and we'll see her body in a few chapters once the Gorosei has arrived. this moment could be the defining Twist of the entirety of Egghead. from Yorks body pops out Atlas wielding her Hologram punching fists completely knocking out Kizaru. and having another weapon specifically meant to end the Gorosei Saturn's life.

When the frontier dome goes down, York is in the control room with Shaka and she’s still in her fat mode. Stussy and co. came up sky walking and then the seraphim followed on their own as Shaka fixed the dome. I think someone is helping York and it just might be Atlas also helping since she was out. Into Yorks fifth EPS cycle she does come back after pooping and coincidentally kidnapping baby punk and locking him up in time to walk in on that double panel scene of Atlas showing her repaired face all the while York yawns and repeatedly says she’s sleepy as they go into groups and she says the flattest “oh.” as they come up on Pythagoras’ body after he got sniped by the ratty Baby Boa. As I typed this out something has me feeling York is actually innocent and still frozen with Franky and this Vietnamese squatting “York” is someone in the hologram disguise or custom look effect Atlas was talking about.
