Legend has it. Caleb is still tightening that chain
@calvinh.88828 ай бұрын
I was thinking since Caleb has watched them tighten down so much heavy equipment with those chain binders that he and his massive self was going to crank down on it and rip the rear differential clean out of that Bronco. lol. You crank down hard with them on heavy equipment, but you'll bend and break things on regular vehicles if you crank down on them. lol. My buddy used those chain binders on his SRT Challenger Hellcat Redeye, and he said that he didn't really tighten them down that hard, but he pulled things all out of alignment. He said to get it back into alignment they had to buy some sort of adjustment bolts for the front because they don't come with any from the factory, and they had to loosen and adjust the entire rear cradle. lol.

In 79 I had that same bronco. Mine was blue and white.Im a follower and subscriber since your start. I crashed mine in a horrible accident 45 years ago. Y'all brought back some horrible memories for me The thick part behind the cab and fiberglass cover will crush . The roof went to the steering wheel and it to the seat. And I was trapped on the floor. The jaws of life and great paramedics I was saved. Please please put a roll bar in that bronco. I know y'all get millions of comments but please take this to heart..

My second car was a "78 Bronco. It was Blue with Silver, and a previous owner put a 460 in it. I could physically watch the gas gage move when I did burnouts. I wish I never sold it. Loved taking the top off and heading to the lake.
@alanhinkel4208 ай бұрын
My stepdad had an F250 with a 460 that I drove all the time. I remember seeing the gas gauge move when I would gun it or do a burnout. Luckily, it had two gas tanks. It was Orange and we named it the Pumpkin. 😂 Cool truck. It got 7 MPG City 11 Highway. It would be an expensive truck to drive today.

I had a 1978 Bronco and rebuilt it from the ground up, lift kit, 4 speed and big mud tires and custom paint job. It was my pride and joy for 22 years. That thing was awesome and went through anything. I always took it mudding, rock climbing and trail riding. I wish I still had it, it was my pride and joy and a beautiful show truck. Best 4×4 ever made in my opinion!!!

Lived in Iowa and you'd be suprise how many sweet old cars you'll find out there on the barn. My buddy's dad rented out the Route 66 drag strip when we were high school and they let us race our cars. Also, thank you Dad for buying us all cars and taking care of your family. RIP.

@danielosborne1705 ай бұрын
That's back when they actually built a REAL truck. I've had plenty of '78's and 79' for trucks and Broncos. What I would do to have any of them right now. Plus easy as hell to work on. You can actually fit inside the wheel wells to work on them. And the fuel pumps were easy as hell to change. Why change the motor. I'd rebuild it and keep matching numbers. NOT changing the motor will bring in a hell of a lot more money.

My dad had a 78 bronco red and white 2 tone, 351 i do believe under hood but automatic on colomn 4x4, and wasnt very rusted up , but that was like 20 years ago, and id say he had maybe $600 into purchasing it , body had needed some work but interior was perfect and ran good i can say , but he did what he did with most things he bought 😂 , he bought th and either used them or played with them and enjoyed them for a short while and some he would fix up or some he would just run and use till he had no use or desire to keep it and moved on to something different and new to him , the only thing he kept VERY long besides jobs, was my mother and my brother and I , sadly he passed away at 59 years old from SUPPOSED COVID/Pneumonia, but didnt smoke or drink or drug , just worked and played harder , but suddenly and sadly he was gone and we have no real answers STILL and it seems to look as if we WILL NEVER GET ANY other then the BS they already gave us and yall accepted , or didnt care enough to EVEN NOTICE the REAL deal of whats going on and why and when and where else before you have no choice to see the truth and by then it WILL be too late, as its already late ENOUGH, but sadly yall going to focus so hard on your daily lives that you dont see ,your all going to work or busy with SOMETHING that perhaps pays your bills and feed your families but the food bought at big stores and corporations is NO GOOD for you /me , and why your focusing on the things you belive are huge , they will look VERY tiny compared to whats going tocome in the near future but it couldvw possibly been stopped if you ALL would wake up and unite together as America once was UNITED and see the truth of what americas been used for , and why its planned to have an ends and sadly knowbody cares enough or does shit but mess around , even more sadly is that the ones who DO have ALL they need are the ones who should pair together secretly like each KZbinr with each other and other youtuber and yall rich ones could help form your own secret societies to fifht the real secret societies that are the problems , like JFK warned us about before was killed 4 it

Started a business that we grew to 20 plus Fords and The wife got a super cool Excusion 7.3... WE LOVE OUR Broncos and Excusion... It is pronounce Bo lin. Used to secure lines(ropes) to the bow of the boat. Allows it to move freely and break it open. I did learn to tie that knot while on Ski Patrol... Hanging from the chairlift while tying it with the other hand....That was many moons ago...

I have gotten so many offers for my 1977 f250. 4x4 Last year of the Highboy. I think the same year as the first Bigfoot monster truck. Highboys where 1967 through 1977. They used the f350 frame for the f250 4x4. You can tell by body mounts pointing out from frame. You had to order which v8 . But regular they had the 300 6 cly with 4 speed. V8 you could order was 302, 360,390,400.428 4x4 wasn't sold with 460 untill 1978. I put 460 in mine with C6. I have a lot of modifies to aluminium radiatior. 35x12. 5x16. 5 BFGoodrich KO. Sunroof. 12000 lb electric wench. Both chrome bumpers. Chrome kicker and tire flares. Over load springs. Bucket seats. Off road lights. 1953 KW cab lights. Freight train horn. Possitrac 4.10 gear ratio. It is original blue color same as Bigfoot. Gt steering wheel. Put in power steer instead of hydraulic assist. And more. Lowest cash offer has been 12,500 and highest was 35,000 cash. But i know some are going 100,000 to 160,000$. It has been my restore for 7 years. I traded 40 bales of grass hay for it than towed it home. No brakes didn't run. That 460 always starts. C6 i rebuilt and modified myself takes all abuse i can give it. Even pulling with front end off the ground. I keep it loaded with tools. Have cherry picker mounted in bed with 2500 lb winch. I have rewired it. Built exhaust myself. Changed bed to two fuel tanks and removed cab tank. Also it is separate transfer case stock. I think a 206 or 209. Can't remember. 4 to 5 miles per gallon. My only ride.

Id say keep the stock motor, but pull it and rebuild with a it of upgrades depending on the power they want maybe stroke it. It definitely needs a holley EFI kit, and a good mild built tra s behind it with a good t case like a np 205/203. Then depe ding on wnat they want aybe a small like 2-4 in lift and build the axles with some lower gears and a cojple lockers and a nice set of 35s or 37" Micky Thompsons then pai t it or just clean up the original and get the interior do e up nice with a simple mild cage and nice seats with some harnesses and that would be one bad ass Bronco anyone would love to have

Why do people always wait until they've lost someone to complete their loved one's dreams. We don't know how long we have each other. Stop waiting for a better time. The perfect moment is probably not going to happen. GO, DO IT NOW, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE... Every single day is a lost opportunity.
